Recently there was an organized activity with the theme of ‘Human Activities and Wildlife Protection’ in the science museum. I participated in it with some of my classmates in this afternoon. From the activity, I learned that at present the environment is being destroyed because of people’s harmful activities, what causes a decrease of wildlife. Beside, many people hunt wild animals for their meat and sometime, for money. To make matters bad, in response, the decrease is doing harm to people’s life. So there is necessary to take effective measures to protect our environment, such as creating wildlife reserves and passing law to raise the awareness of wildlife protection. Wild animals are friends of our human beings. To protect them is protect ourselves. All in all, I have benefit a lot from today’s activity.

Being a teacher is always believed to be one of greatest occupations, because teachers make great contributions for the world. Last week, I got a chance to experience teaching students. Our school asked us to teach some kids live in the countryside. The kids was so happy that they gave me a warm welcome. I teach them English and after class, we played games happily. We had a lot of funs together. When I returned back to school, I missed the students so much. They like me but some of them have kept in touch with me ever since. I felt so proudly of being a teacher.

This morning we heard a talk giving by our headmaster about Lei Feng. We were deep moved by what Lei Feng had done. We made up my minds to follow his example. As we didn’t have class in the afternoon, so we decided to do some good deed for people. Some of us went to nearest nursing home to help wash clothes, while others remain at school to clean the offices. We both worked very hard. It was not until six o'clock when I returned home. Ever since middle school, my sister Wang Wei and I dreamed about taking a great bike trip. Two years ago she bought an expensive mountain bike but then she persuaded me to buy it. Last year, she visited our cousin, Dao Wei and Yu Hang at their college in Kunming. Wang Wei soon got them interesting in bike riding too. After graduated from college, we finally got the chance to take up a bike trip. I asked my sister, “Where are we going?” It was my sister that first had an idea to ride along the whole Mekong River from which it begins to where it ends. I was only 12 when we moved to Switzerland, I remember that I enjoy flying across the whole country and that I wasn’t happy about leave my friends. But Dad said it’d be good for we all to live in countryside around Bern (伯尔尼). And Uncle Jeff, who’d been living there for about 20 years, were always telling us how a beautiful city Bern was. Last Sunday, I went to sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. The park was full of freshness or beauty of spring, with the sun shining and birds singing. When I was enjoying a fantastic scenery around, something unpleasant catch my eye. A young couple in a boat were eating talking and laughing loudly as they were the only people in the world. What’s worse, they spat and even threw rubbishes into the lake. What a shame!
Such behavior left me deeply in thought. If all visitors to the Fairy Lake Park do as the couple did, the lake would be severely polluted and soon turned into a huge dustbin. Therefore, we should get rid of the bad habit of littering and keeping the public places clean. Only by this way can we live in more comfortable and beautiful surroundings.

Last Saturday our class went hiking in a countryside. We meet at our school gate and set off on 8:00 am. On the way, we were singing and laughing happily while a girl suddenly fell into a deep hole. She felt so frightening and even burst into tears. One of my classmate found a long rope and we finally got her out. Fortunately, she didn’t suffer seriously injuries, but it seemed that her ankle slightly injured. We managed to sending her to the nearest hospital. It is an experience we’ll never forget it, though we didn’t enjoy ourselves very much that day.

Entering Senior One, I considered myself a “loser”, because I got a bad score in the entrance examination. I was decided to go to one of the top university to get rid of it!
Honestly speaking, it was an extreme long and tough war. However, I was not afraid. All I did was to push me further toward my dream. Finally, on December 9, 2018, I got a offer from my dream university. I suddenly thought the “loser” label I have given myself. It didn’t matter any more.
Now, I find myself fill with confidence. Which matters most is how much you devote to fight for your dream.

Ten years ago, when I began my senior high school study, I found them difficult to learn English well because there were so much new words and grammar rules to recite. Hard though I might try, but I still did poorly in the English exams. Honest speaking, it was hardest time in my life. One day I was considered giving up when suddenly my mother found my problem. She told me that if I didn’t complete that I wanted to do, it could directly influence my future. Under the help of my mother, I made rapid progresses in English little by little. At the end of the term, I get the highest mark in English.
