4 . In the high risk world of military service, Army National Guard member Nick flew helicopters and sent wounded soldiers to safety. He served for nearly a year, seeing too many deaths and _______.

I worked with her to start a life worth living—to find a job, a satisfying place to live and new ______. We got along well, and she started making great ______ in her life right away.

The records from the ______ psychiatric facility arrived a month after Roz and I began our successful work together. To my complete ______, her records were several inches thick, describing a number of psychiatric hospital stays. Her diagnosis was “paranoid schizophrenic,” with a comment on her being “hopeless”.

My childhood had its ups and downs, but with my mom, who was so supportive, I was destined to succeed in life.
