Training for a marathon is one of the most physically demanding activities you can willingly put yourself through. And when the race day finally comes after months of training and hours spent running on the playground you want to finish the race well. But sometimes, that just doesn’t happen.

One day, Sumiko visited Mrs. Higaki’s garden, expressing her desire to compete in the Kyoto Chrysanthemum Festival. Mrs. Higak i laughed off Sumiko’s dreams, claiming the secret to growing prize chrysanthemums was exclusive (独有的) to her family.
