    3    . If you need to complain with your wife or husband, don’t wait until night. Tough discussions are less likely to influence your sleep if you start them earlier. Arguments can activate your sympathetic nervous system, which affects sleep. Some research even suggests that going to bed with anger may make you impatient the next morning.
