3 . International Olympic Committee (IOC) spokesperson Mark Adams said the IOC wanted to send a signal of solidarity through updating the Olympic motto.
The Olympic Movement’s value is not just about individual excellence, but about a team around you. Solidarity is just not about having values, it’s about putting values into action.
The IOC admitted adding “together” into the Olympic motto. The new motto now reads “Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together”.
The idea of the motto is that you are unable to go faster, go higher and be stronger without a team around you.
If you really want to do something, you have to work with other people to achieve that. That’s the reason behind the updated motto.
The addition of “together” was proposed by Thomas Bach after he was elected as the IOC president again.
Only by uniting all of us can we ensure that everything can go smoothly. At the airport, nearly 30000 people related to the Olympic Games were tested because of COVID - 19 cases. Each of those 30,000 people has been tested twice before they arrived. All these people had three tests, nearly 100,000 tests. How great it is! All that is being done is to make sure there will be a safe and secure Games. It shows the power of “together” as well as the Olympic new spirit.

As we came down to breakfast that morning, with very shiny faces and spandy clean aprons, we found father alone in the dining-room.
“Happy New Year, papa! Where is mother?”we cried.
“A little boy came begging and said they were starving at home, so your mother went to see and--ah,here she is.”
As papa spoke, in came mamma, looking very cold, rather sad, and very much excited.
“Children, don't begin till you hear what I have to say,” she cried and we sat staring at her, with the breakfast untouched before us.
“Not far away from here, lies a poor woman with a little new-born baby. Six children are huddled into one bed to keep from freezing, for they have no fire. There is nothing to eat over there; and the oldest boy came here to tell me they were starving this bitter cold day. My little girls, will you give them your breakfast, as a New Year's gift?”
We sat silent a minute, and looked at the nice, hot porridge, creamy milk, and good bread and butter.
“I wish we'd eaten it up,” thought I, for I was rather a selfish child, and very hungry.
“I'm so glad you come before we began,”said Nan, cheerfully.
“May I go and help carry it to the poor, little children?” asked Beth, who had the tenderest heart.
“I can carry the lassy pot,” said little May, proudly giving the thing she loved best.
“And I shall take all the porridge,” I burst in, heartily ashamed of my first feeling.
“You shall put on your things and help me, and when we come back, we'll get something to eat,”said mother, beginning to pile the bread and butter into a big basket.

10 . Happiness is the most sought-after emotion. It is the reason for the existence of all beings. Happiness is not confined to the human world alone.
A young child is happy when it is well fed and becomes sad when it is hungry. Even adults cannot resist the pleasures of food and associate this with happiness. A bar of chocolate, an ice cream treat, or a fancy spread at a buffet all bring happiness.
Then, there is the house and the car, holidays abroad, a simple picnic, or even a movie that evokes happiness. Happiness is found in obtaining material things or indulging in recreational activities.
Many have sought it in ashrams and from wise men, but all it takes is an act of kindness and sharing. True happiness is eventually not in the receiving, possessing, and getting but in the giving. Giving time, things, labor to those around us, loved ones or strangers is the true happiness that lives on in our lives.
