Last October I left the UK behind and joined Gillotts School on their rugby and hockey tour in sunny Italy. It was my first time away on a sports tour and I could not have enjoyed it     1     (much)! Five days of sports, between training and matches with Italian players, but also plenty     2    time for sightseeing and free moments to enjoy an ice cream in the sun.

    3     our flight had landed in Milan, we got on our coach and drove for a couple of hours towards our home for the week, the Hotel San Zeno, a     4     (comfort), family-run accommodation, with a splendid view of Lake Garda. Starting the day with a self-led training, enjoying a boat tour on the lake, wandering along the streets of Sirmione for a few hours and heading off     5     (play) a sport — these are just a few     6     (example) of the kind of adventures you could be having!

The girls and boys on this tour seemed to enjoy    7     (they) thoroughly, especially after winning ALL of their games! I found myself     8     (cheer) them on like a proud aunt and celebrating afterwards with food, drink and social time, hosted by rugby clubs after matches. On the last day we headed back to     9     airport, but not before stopping in Milan! We     10     (pay) a visit to the San Siro museum and enjoyed a stadium tour before moving on to Milan city centre for an afternoon of shopping.

Fido, a little dog,was very anxious to get the favor on his master. He took care, however,   neither to be troublesome,    1    would he follow him into the living room unless he was asked. He also tried to make    2    (he) useful to his kind master. He would drive away strange pigs and other animals    3    came into the yard．

Once when his master was sick, Fido    4    (lie) at the room door and did not leave, even to get his food．When his master was well enough, Fido     5     (admit) into the room, and showed so many signs of joy that his master was more fond     6     him than ever．

A recent film has earned huge attention on social media platforms, many citizens    1    (praise) the short video as the “best commercial video of 2019 ”. The film focuses on    2    question “Who is Peppa?” and tells a touching story    3    highlights Chinese families. In the beginning, a senior man    4    (name) Li Yubao in a remote mountainous area asked his grandson on the phone    5    gifts he wanted for the Spring Festival, but only heard the word “Peppa” due to the poor mobile signal. Therefore, the man begins an interesting journey to discover who Peppa is.    6     the help of neighbors, the senior man made a Peppa model with irons and steels, and    7    (surprise) his grandson. The short video     8    (encourage) people working outside to come back home often and accompany family members    9    (spend) a happy and warm Spring Festival holiday.
