Last Friday, the students in our school are organized to visit the exhibition on China’s development. We watched some outstanding achievement in China and a guide gave us unusual introduction to the exhibition. While visiting, they were excited and proud of that our nation had achieved. After visited the exhibition, we had a class meeting in the classroom. We worked in groups and delivered a short speech on turn, sharing our thoughts on what we have seen. Neither the exhibition or the class meeting is memorable. We will do nothing but to work hard and make contributions to our country.

There are many persons who help me a lot, among whom are my English teacher, Miss Liu. I still remember being asked in his class, but I fail to answer the question. When I was 12, I met Jane in a college, which came to China with her parents. Her parents teach English at that time. We soon made friend with each other. It is said a chemical factory will be built near our school. I thought it wrong to do so. Although the factory will make a lot of money for our city, but it will do us more harm than good.
The drink water will be badly polluted. The airs over the city will be polluted, either. What's more, the chemical factory will be locate where we students play games and have sports after school. My brother Tom was very selfish when he was a little boy. He did not want share things with other people. For example, when he bought a chocolate cake, he put them in a secret place where I couldn’t find. Then he ate it all by himself. He never helped other. He said he is busy. That is, a game of tennis making him very busy. He did not care if something he did made people angrily. For instance, on one night he played strong and loudly music till four o'clock in the morning. But he is difference now. He often helps grandma with housework, helps mum with cooking and helps his classmates with their lessons.
