1 . Mrs. Hill was an English teacher at the new middle school I attended in the eighth grade. She wasn’t my teacher but I loved being around her and enjoyed her kindness. She was also a good Listener.
At the end of the year, she was moving to Florida, and I was sad. We exchanged addresses and became pen friends. I could tell her anything, and she treated me with respect even though I was a Schoolboy.
In Florida, Mrs. Hill became a lawyer, but she managed to find time to write me letters. She wrote amusing stories and always took my concerns seriously. She had given me an invitation to visit. I accepted it immediately, I spent three weeks with her in Miami. Her love of music and creative writing inspired me.
Two years later, Mrs. Hill surprised me by attending my high school graduation ceremony. Later that year, my family decided to spend Christmas in Florida and I couldn’t wait to see her again. When I arrived at her house, I had hoped to talk to her about school, but instead she was in a hospital bed. She had cancer. A month after we got back home, we were shocked to hear that Mrs. Hill had passed away.
To this day, more than 50 years later, whenever I read her letters again, thinking about the advice she gave me, I still remember the importance of her smile and her friendship. For me, she is a respected teacher forever!

2 . I wouldn't describe myself as a fashion-lover and I don't usually spend a great deal of money on clothes. However, I do love cheap ones and I am terrible at throwing away old clothes. Some people cannot understand this. If it's old, why would you want to keep it? Well, the answer is simple. Clothes are memories and, just like memories, they can be sweet and precious.
My favorite jacket is a black and white wool one with a cool print. There are several holes in it, and even a big hole in the pocket when I happen to set it on fire ... Oops. I really should throw it away but I can't bring myself to do it.It reminds me of one of my favorite travels.I bought it in a market on the suburbs(郊区)of Lima,Peru.The first time I wore it,I was on a trip to an amazing water and light show in a park on that day.My friend and I had so much fun and I've made many memories wearing that jacket ever since.
It's the same with jewellery too. My friend made me a beautiful necklace with a piece of glass from the island where I grew up. She gave it to me so I would always have apiece of home with me. It's one of the loveliest gifts I' ve ever received and I haven't taken it off since then. Perhaps one day it will break somehow, but I could never throw it away.

It is bad for your health to get angry in life, but how can you control your anger? Here are some ways to deal with it.
If you expect too much and can't get it, you will be disappointed. So change what you want and need, and you are less likely to become angry.
Think of the other person—try and understand his or her position.
Why are they behaving like that? How would you feel if you were in their shoes? Can you agree to their reasons for being angry? Once you see things from their point of view, your anger many be replaced by concern (关心).
When you get angry, take a deep breath and stop the thoughts that are making you angry. Think of something happy instead, something you like and enjoy. Your anger will gradually become less.
Surround yourself with positive people.
The more people around you show that they are calm and happy, the calmer and happier you become too.
Imagine doing something terrible to the person who is annoying you and change your anger into your imagination. Then you are free to act calmly and reasonably on the surface.
