Initially set up in the 1087, the Xi’an Forest of Stone Tablets, was official named in the Qing Dynasty. It is an art treasure house where is composed of more than 3,000 stone tablets. The museum is calling “Forest of Stone Tablets” because the numerous stone tablets housing in the museum look like a dense forest. The museum was a treasure house of ancient Chinese calligraphy as well as a good collection of historical documents and stone carvings in various styles now. Moreover, the tablets bear evidences to the cultural exchanges in ancient China.
However, for the visitors to Xi’an, the Forest of Stone Tablets is of great attraction in addition terracotta warriors.
We will surely be impressed by its rich culture.

Poetry probably dates back tens of thousands of years ago, when writing had not been inventing. People would sit around the fire at night sang songs to entertain themselves, that reflected themes from the peoples daily lives. Since nothing was written down, over the years different versions of these songs developed and each area would have its own respectively rhythm. In an addition, people would recite stories of past hero. While in the beginning such songs and stories had very simple formats, over time it became more complicated and more polished. These were no longer the works of amateurs sitting around a fire, and works of true poets who cared about their art and sometimes makes a living from it.

Since the digging of No.3 to No.8 sites begin in October last year, about 500 pieces of relics (文物) have been found at Sanxingdui Ruins in southwest China Sichuan Province. The relics, discovered at six new sites, include the golden masks. Many of them are unique shaped. The new finds have brought the total amount of the relics discovered at the ruins to nearly 2,000. The discoveries has shown that ancient China is far more developed we have expected.
Sanxingdui was discovered in the early twenty century. It has been considering as one of the greatest archaeological (考古的) wonder in the world.

Welcome to the Great Wall. Measured more than 6,000 kilometers in length, the Great Wall is known as the long wall in the world. It has a long history of more than 2,000 years. That is amazing about the Great Wall is that it is main made of stones and bricks, and all the construction was done by hand. Though it was used to protect the country from foreign invaders, every few hundred meters along with the Great Wall, there was a watchtower. Now, as symbol of China, the Great Wall will become one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world. It is no wonderful that the Great Wall attract hundreds of thousands of foreign tourists every year.
