I’m terrible sorry to have missed the first two lessons this morning. I got up early as usually in the morning, but when I was ready to leave I find my bicycle’s front tyre flat. I wanted to take bus or taxi to school, and I didn’t have any money with me. I had to look for a place along the street to get my bicycle repairing. Unluckily, there were not any bicycle repair shops were open in the early morning. So I had to walk to school, carrying my bicycle all the way. That’s how I was late for school.
Please don’t worry with my lessons, Mr Li. I will make up for it and turn to teachers for help if necessary.

Last year I attended an after-school program calling Young at Arts where I learned dancing. My most favorite teacher at Young at Arts was Mrs. Li. She changed the way she looked at life. Before I met Mrs. Li, I wouldn’t dare to trying anything I didn’t think I would be successfully in. Mrs. Li talked with me to help me get through hard times that I was frustrated with not only dancing, but also life. She teach me that my attitude can be important than my talent. It was her encourage that helped me leave my comfort zone and achieved what I hadn’t expected before.

This afternoon I was having a PE lesson while I fell down and hurt my foot. I was in greatly pain at that moment, but I tried to act as if nothing has happened until the class was over. Though I had difficulty walk back to my classroom, I still didn't tell anyone but even refused the offer of help of my classmates. As result, the hurt in my foot became bad. Now I know I am wrong. We can tell others our need for help and accept his help. Some day we can help others in return for. In this way, we can get along to each other happily and peacefully.
There are lots of experience in our life.The most unforgettable one for me is the speech competition holding last year.I'm interested in English.When my English teacher told me that I had chosen to take part in the speech competition, I devoted me to the preparation.I was determined to win the first prize.I was such nervous when I stood on the stage that I forgot everything.Not until I caught a sight of my teacher did I calm down. Finally, I do a good job.
When I heard I got the first prize, my heart was filled in joy and tears rolled down. Through this speech competition, I understand that it is confidence which makes people successfully.
Nick Vujicic, without arms or legs by birth, is the very person I've been admiring. Disabled as he is, he has been proved to the world that he can live as rich and full a life as normal person. He never sits around feel sorry for himself. On the contrary, owing to his optimism, not only has he succeed in caring for himself, but he also graduated with Griffith University. That inspires me most is that he has even started an organization called LifeWithoutLimbs to help other like him achieve their dreams.
On his life journey, Nick has sought after the best yourself despite his disabilities. Similar, we are what we are, not what we were or what we will be. Cherish the present.
My friend Henry has a most unusually hobby (爱好). He likes plant flowers in strange places. When the spring comes round, you can always tell Henry had been busy working because the dirty side of canals (沟渠) and railway banks suddenly became filled of flowers. In his spare time, with pockets full of seeds, Henry goes round by his bike. He has a long pipe with him blow seeds into places that is hard to reach. When his flowers fade (凋谢), he goes round again to collect its seeds. In this way he always has a big supply.

I am David. As a eighteen-year-old student in Senior 3, there have always a new challenge just around the corner! At times they can be quite stressful, which in turn makes me feel very worry. In order to help deal this, I go jogging as often as possibly. Whether I’m at the gym and on the road, my nervous energy push me through mile one. By mile two, the tension has moved from my mind to my leg. By the end of the run, all my stress has been disappeared and I am ready to meet more challenges with confidence the next day!
Mistakes are unavoidable in life. But attitudes towards it may make difference. I still remember how my spoken English was improved. At the beginning, I always kept silent in our oral class to avoid make mistakes. Before long my teacher got to know about his situation, he encouraged me to speak out that I thought. Whenever I made mistakes and felt discouraging, my teacher and my classmate would help me to find out my problem. I also joined in an English club to get more chances to speak. Practice makes perfect. Now I can talk fluent in English. Just as the saying went, “Every bean has its black.”Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Learning from mistakes, and success is just waiting for us.
When I came to England, I know little English. As you can probably guess it, my life was difficult for a time. Simple tasks like ordering food or take a taxi were quite stressful. I signed up for classes and studied on my own as well, so I made poor progress. I became very discouraging. Finally, I found best way to learn English was to make friends with native speakers and spend time on them. I appreciated playing in a band with an English woman which became one of my best friend in London. My English improved great by hanging out with her.
Sandy was one of my best friends at high school. At that time, we often spend time together, sharing happy and sadness as well. With her help, I made a great progress in my study. Last year, she decided study abroad. In other words, we would be separating for a long time. Before her leaving, I prepared a gift to show my best wishes to her. But she gave me an English book, that helped me improve my English. Since then, they have kept in touch with each other through e-mails. I think high of the friendship between us and look forward to see her again in the near future.
