While seating in my chair the other day, I wondered how I could become better person. I knew there was nothing standing in my way in the fact. Therefore, I decided to stop wait for the future to find myself and take action immediately. To begin to find a direction, I try to find my greatest strengths and find out that would bring me joy. I wrote out all my goal, what skills I would need to learn or what steps I would take to achieve them. I believe that I can be very success if I keep trying and work hard.

For most teenager, their idols (偶像) are from TV shows or movies. As a kid, I watch many cartoons and my idol was Mr. Black, who fought against bad guys brave. When in middle school, I enjoyed a lot romantic movies and my idol was Tom Cruise, the handsome actor. Now, I admire the police most, who is always doing great things, brings peace and security to the people. So, our idols change as we grow up. I received a handwritten letter from the friend last week. I got one or two when I was a child but I ever expected to receive one again. In this rapid changing world, in most case we use social media to keep in touch. The letter reminds me that written letters still exist. People today are connected more, and the pictures I post on our social media are widely viewed by people. However, letters are represent a slow pace and allow us control what we tell our friends. On this way, our conversations don't involve so many things, but the slow pace makes the contact long-lasting.

There is a famous song called Never Say Never, which is one of my favorite song. The lyrics(歌词) tell people no matter what happens, never give it up. And then you will be successful. I keep believe those words. But last week. I watch a TV show in which the host asked people learn to give up sometimes. He explained that he met a boy who were not good at maths but extreme skilled in drawing. Therefore, he suggested the boy give up the major and learnt drawing. And now, the boy is the famous painter. It proves that giving up is not always a bad thing, because your potential is which really gives you the chance to succeed.

Yesterday morning I was on my way to work. Suddenly I stopped by a woman on the sidewalk. She asked me if I knew how to get to CASS, that is a local shelter for the homeless. I could tell she was extreme upset, so I told her I’d look it up for her on my smartphones. While waiting, she told the she was losing and didn’t have money for the bus. I took out of a 20-dollar bill from my purse but handed it to her. Then I accompany her to the nearest bus stop. See the happy smile on her face brightened up my day, either.
Union is strength. Whenever you were faced with difficulties or in a dilemma, cooperation plays an important part in getting you out of trouble. There was a time when I was too proud that I overlooked my classmate, refusing to work together with them. Therefore, it was no doubt that I was left alone, suffering from loneliness and failure. Unfortunately，a teacher impressed on me the value of cooperation. From then on, I learned to help others and turn to my friends for the help whenever I had difficulty finish a task on my own. Surely cooperation made a great difference. Now I am getting well with my friends. My experience has taught me that only if we attach great importance with cooperation can we go beyond ourselves. As the saying go, “United we stand; divided we fall.”

One Saturday morning， I suddenly noticed my room was in a completely mess， what really annoyed me. I realized too many useful things took up a lot of space. I have a dream to be a doctor. Three years ago, I am badly injured in car accident. The ambulance rushed me to the nearest hospital, that the doctors and nurses did their best to look after myself. Five days late, I was getting better. I watched the doctors to perform their duties tirelessly but offer all their patients the best treatment available. My experience in that hospital great influenced me. Ever since then, I have made it my life’s ambition to fight against diseases and save life. I know my dream will come true if I keep work hard for it.

The time we have is usual limited. However, even an hour is of great valuable. We should make full use of your time to do useful things. As students, we mustn’t study hard so as to serve for our society and our nation in the future. But it is pity that there are a lot of people who didn’t know the importance of time. They spend their valuable time smoke and drinking. They don’t realize that wasting time is the same as wasting a part of their life. Remember, don’t put off which you can do today until tomorrow.
