Three years ago I failed an important exam in my life and become a student in an ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom, I found the teachers patiently and considerate. Besides, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in class. I decided make the best of it. I worked hard and got along good with my teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulty, they are always available. Soon, I became one of the top student in my class, and which greatly increased my confidence and got me motivated.
My experience tell me that it is not what you are given but how you make use for it that determines who you are.

I once get a VIP pass to a huge concert given by one of the most popular rock bands in world. The ticket qualified me to meet all the member of the band backstage but to watch the whole process of setting up for the concert. The guitarist was a man whom was very kind. I did not have much anxiety while getting to know them better, but the rest were more of reserved. They just smiled and made friend gestures. Anyway, watching the stage being set up and all the microphones being checking, I understood how hard it was to putting on a stadium concert. It took hours of preparation to produce quality sound.

Life is full of various experiences, some of them are unforgettable. I still remember the hiking experiences with my classmates for 16 km a year ago. That summer day, we set off early in the morning, think it would be a great fun to walk for so long a distance. However, as the weather is getting hotter and hotter, I found their legs heavier and heavier. What’s worse, my feet began bleeding because long time pressing against the shoes. Faith is important in one’s life. It is just like light in the dark, which lead people to get out of trouble. Many successful people have shared the secret of making great achievement. They owed the success at the faith of never give up. Everybody wants to be different, and only few of them can make it. What makes them differently? It is to hold the strong faith.
For me, when I felt disappointed about my study and had no idea what to do, my parents and friends encourage me to move on. Finally the difficult time would pass. So I tell me no matter what has been happened, never stop making progress.

When I was eight, my father bought me the new bike for my birthday. My brother offered to teach me how to ride. At first, they rode and let me watching. I will share one experience with you. With the College Entrance Examination draw near, I am filled with great anxiety. Therefore, I couldn’t be absorbed in studies, resulting from my failing in the examination. I got extreme discouraged. Just then, my teacher, Miss Zhang, approached me and said, “It is natural that in life we all have moment when we can’t achieve what we want it. Don’t allow them to weaken you, and turn them into motivation to inspire you.” Her words were reminder which provided myself with constant encouragement to smile at life. Consequently, I gained what I deserved.
So it is an optimistic attitude which matters most of all. It gives you the confidence to deal with difficulties and to achieve what you want in your life.

One evening after supper, Mom or I went to our little vegetable garden, only to find quite a few cucumbers were destroyed. Dried leaf were left on the ground, making us feel sadly. Observing carefully, we found some animal footprints here. We guessed that it must be a pet dog that had made up the mess.
Several days later, to our great excite, the damaged vegetables begin to grow again. Some even had little cucumbers, which goes as the saying “Misfortune may be an actual good thing!”. This taught him a good lesson—We should treat a bad thing in positive way instead of turn angry.

As we all know, questioning can lead to searching for an answer. If we are in the habit raising doubts as to whether that we are told is true, we can find the correct answer and learn more.
Two years ago, our teacher offered us an answer to a difficult math problem in class. Although the answer seemed a little strange, but nobody except me doubted it. Think that his answer might be wrong, I carefully analyzed the problem and tried to work them out in a different way. Half a hour later, I managed to find the correct answer. When I showed my answer to him, the teacher praised me as my independently thinking.
From this experiences, I have learned that questioning can serve as a bridge that help us to seek the truth.
