I spent an unforgettable time in last weekend. My mother has to go to the hospital to take care of my grandmother which fell ill and received an operation. Therefore, he asked me to stay at home and look after my brother, who was only three year old. I had to keep my eyes fixing on him while doing my homework. Then I did all I could please him by singing sweet songs and telling amused stories. Five hours passed by before our mom came back. I breathed a sigh of relief. This turned out to be an special experience. Now I know that being a mother of two is not so easier as I thought.

Delighted to see me, she held my hands and hurry to bring me something delicious. Heard that I would be a senior three student soon, she told me not be nervous and that everything would be OK. Then she also stressed that study and healthy were equally important. Feeling so warmly, I promised her that I would make full preparations for the coming entrance examination both physical and mentally. I firmly believe that I will get satisfying results the next year.

Last Sunday, when the rain was just over, she persuaded me to travel around the city by bikes together with her to enjoying the fresh air. During the trip, her bike suddenly slip and she lost her balance, fallen to the ground. Although covered in mud, but she laughed and said it was lucky for herself not to be injured. I was deep touched by her optimism. Now, whenever I am faced by challenges, I tend to view them in a positive way.

She is only three years older than me, but she is an amazed role model and I have learn a lot from her. She is real a kind person and she has taught me lend a hand when others need help. Yesterday, when I complained to my mom about too little entertainment, she share the story of her youth to me. In the 1980s, neither iPads nor smartphones were invented. Each time when evenings approached, the children around would crowd into the only house where had a television. We stared at the small screen until the program ended. Parent would make every effort to drag their children to bed when it was getting lately. But now, iPads and smartphones have taken place of televisions. No wonder my mom always says we are the generation grown up in a honey jar. After listening to my mom’s story I felt lucky to live so a happy and comfortable life.

One day, on the way home from school, my mom tells me she was going to draw up some house rules for me and my brothers. On Sunday, she started giving them the rules, which said we should clean our rooms the every other day, get up at 7:30 a. m. and be ready for bed at 9:30 p. m. To be honesty, following these rules are not hard most of the time, but it can be tough sometimes. For instance, if we can’t finish cleaning our rooms on the appointing day, we have to do it the next day, along with other thing we have to do. I firm believe my mom made these rules because of her love for us. She expects us learn how to be on time and be clean but neat.

Talked about personal relationships, I’d naturally think of my relationship with my mother. Wherever I need help, my mother is always there for me. She often tells me that I can be anyone I want, as long as I’m confident of me. She sees my talent and push me to do the best I possible can. I respect my mother so much as she never treats me as a child, but as a equal. She gives me the freedom make mistake and learn from them all. Unlike friendships that can disappear gradually and break, I know I’ll always be connected to my mother no matter what I face with. She is not just a role model, but someone I love.
