After supper last night, I went to the park nearby take a walk with my parents. To my surprised, there were so many people there. Over one hundred people were dancing with music. Another group of people were standing in a circle at the corner of the square, singing some old song. Some small kids, acompanying by their parents, were painting toy dolls. It seemed that everybody enjoys themselves very much. I was moved by the scene in the front of me. I noticed most of us were not rich as they didn’t dress well, and they seemed to be very happy. All of a sudden, I realized that they were the really ones who know the truth of life.

Yesterday, Miss Li told us about that we were going to make an advertisement for our club. She asked us to plan ours advertisement carefully. I went on a trip during the winter vacation, that was wonderful because I tried something I have never experienced before. One morning when we were walking along the beach, enjoyed sunshine, someone strongly advised that we went water skiing. However, we didn’t dare to face the challenge because that seemed dangerous to do it. My friends all encouraged me, so I finally joined in them. At last, I couldn’t stop screaming in fright. Later I felt that it was an amazement filling with fun. From an experience I learned that we should be brave enough to try something new. Only in this way we find a better self to meet any challenge.

Last Thursday was the day where I paid a visit for the museum of tea together with some foreign students and showed them around there.
I led them to look through the items about tea at the exhibition in beginning. They were curious about the stories behind those old mysteriously things. Then I showed them what to make tea. Later, they tried making tea by them. At the end of the activity, we had a photo was taken together. Exhausted and delighted , they expressed their gratefulness to me for my explain.
The activity impressed me deeply because it allow me to know more about our traditional culture that day. I enjoyed it very much.

This morning, I flew a kite with Mary in the Peoples Park. We were sure to have much fun so we got a nice kite and it was a lovely day.
I began to fly kite. Once it went up into the sky, I began to run very fastly, and hoped it would go higher and higher. Then suddenly I felt anything wrong. Looked up into the sky, I was disappointed to find the kite got broken. At no time the broken kite and ropes fell over me. What a fool! I sat on the grass, feeling rather ashamed of what I had done it.
Then Mary comforts me, saying, “Now, you know that makes a kite fly high. It’s patience and skills.”
