Last summer, my family took short trip to the countryside. After drive for two hours, we arrived at a mountain lake. The scenery is breathtaking. We hiked, picnicked or swam in the lake. At night, we roasted beef in the starlight. The next day they visited a village, ate at a farmhouse and picking fruits. Though short, it was relaxed. I enjoyed nature and being with family. Traveling and trying some new thing make family trips meaningfully and unforgettable. How I look forward to one more such trip in the near future again!

Last summer, I spend two weeks at a summer camp in England. Summer camps are high popular and a lot of teenager usually go camping every year. It was my first time, and I thought it was amazing. I stayed in a little wooden house with four another kids. We took part in lots of interested outdoor and social activities. I took my computer and camera to me, and sent photos back to my parents. At the camp I spoke English all time and I also practiced read signs. So my English is quite good now. I was sad to leaving the camp because of it was a really special holiday.

Last Saturday, we have no lessons. My friends and I decided to help the farmers pick apples because they were very busily. Li Hong and I climbed up a big apple tree. Last weekend, I, together with some classmates, going to the Green Farm to participate a grape-picking activity. Walking through the “Green Passage”, where we came to the grape garden covered an area of 100 mu. To our amazed, we saw advanced technology and equipment using for efficient farming. Everywhere our eyes fell were bunch of grapes, which were all red and purple, shining like pearls in the sunshine. Last weekend, all the students in my class go camping in the woods near our town. Several of our teachers joined us, too.
