One activity that my family and I enjoy do every summer is taking our boat out. It’s so many fun! We always invite one of our neighbor, Paul, to go with us. Last Sunday, I went to the park with my friends. At the gate I come across some American tourists. I greeted him in English and then we began to chat. Now I don't watch television at all. But a few years ago I was watched it every night. Yesterday, I went to an amazing Chinese art festival. There were different stands which artists could present their skills and wonderfully teaching the visitors! It was definite an exciting experience for a foreign student like me. What caught up my attention first in a breathtaking exhibition of Chinese porcelain （瓷器）was a 15th-century qinghua bowl, vividly illustrating（阐明）a dragon played with a ball playing.
Then I tried paper cutting, that is, making images（图像）out of paper. It was difficult, and a lot of fun! Under an artist's help, I managed to make one in shape of a fish. Meanwhile, there was also an old man writing Chinese calligraphy （书法）and his writing was very free and elegant（优雅的）that I was attracted! Then another man sitting next to him shows me how seal cutting worked. He made one for me with my name in Chinese—pretty awesome!

Last weekend, my parents and I visited my uncle who lives in the countryside. I arrived there later on Friday. In Saturday morning, my uncle wakes me up early and took me to walk around. All the street were very quiet and many people were dancing in the square. Without much cars, the village looked so clean or beautiful. The villagers got their houses decorate so well. Every house was surrounded by green trees and colorful flowers. And I could see the beautiful mountain in the distance. At that moment, I found the truly beauty of the countryside. What I saw left me deep impression.
