Yesterday, I went to an amazing Chinese art festival. There were different stands artists could demonstrate their skills and teach the visitors! It was definite an exciting experience. What caught our attention first was a 18th-century qinghua bowl. It vividly illustrated two dragons’ playing with a ball, which were typical of Chinese porcelain. Then I try some paper cutting, namely, making images out of papers. It was difficult, but a lot of fun! With the help of an artist, and I managed to make one in the shape of a fish. Another man seating next to him showed me how seal cutting worked. He made one for me with my name on Chinese — pretty awesome!

During my childhood, my family didn’t have a lot of money, so we had to be creative when it came to be entertainment. One of our favorite thing to do on weekends were to go to the park and have a picnic. My mom would pack sandwiches, fruit, and cookies, and they would bring a frisbee and a soccer ball play with. We would spend hours running around but having fun. It didn’t matter which we didn’t have expensively toys. We were happy just spending time together in the fresh air. Looked back, I know those simple picnics are some of my fonder memories in my childhood.

Last weekend, my friends and I decided to go to skiing together. As we arrived, we could see the slopes cover in a blanket of white, which waited for us to overcoming them. We eager rented our skis and snowboards and made our way to the beginner’s slope. Some of us were experiencing skiers, when others were trying it for the first time. We encouraged each other but shared tips on how to manage the slopes. As we slid down hill, a sense of joy filled the air. We challenged us to tackle more challenging runs. Skiing together not only allowed us to enjoy the thrill of the sport but strengthen our friendship.

Last Sunday, my parents and me went to the countryside, which we had a great time together. To make it a green journey, we all agree to cycle there. With everything ready, we set out. Last Sunday, my classmates and I went to a farm for a activity about picking various things.
No sooner had we arrived on the farm when we saw many kinds of fruit trees, surrounding by many animals. I picked some pears, which I think are good for health, because of the fall is the best time to eating pears. After the activity, we get a better understanding of labor’s mean. During the activity we felt tired, and we had a good time.

This winter holiday, my classmates and I played the game called drum topping. Eight students tried to control a drum by pulling strings attaching to it and bounce a ball on top of them at the same time. With the ball bouncing on the drum, our feelings rose and fell down with eagerness. It was much tough than expected as it called for quick reaction and perfect cooperation. Everyone was clumsy at first, and we gradually got the trick of determining the ball’s drop locations and what to control the ball. We have fun with the game. However, what mattered most was we learned from failure and finished our task perfect through teamwork in the end.

I’m a fan of reality TV shows and I watch it a lot. My favourite is “The Teenage Boss”, in whom twelve teenagers compete to winning a prize of £20, 000. Spring has come with all its beauty! Trees have turned green or flowers can be seeing everywhere. Last Friday, my friends and me went on a spring outing. It was such a great fun! We cycled along the streams and down the paths. It didn’t take us long to get the foot of the mountain, that we left our bikes. Then we begin hiking. As we reached the top of the mountain, we were shocking to see many plastic bottle and food bags here and there. All of us started to collect the rubbish and then took it down the mountain. We felt happily to have done our part for the environment.
