Trunk or Treat
October 23 | AACA Museum
Dress in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy an entertaining afternoon of family fun! Let the joy begin at handmade tables, where kids will decorate their own “Trunk or Treat” bags using the various cars and Halloween stamps, stickers, markers, and more. All visitors aged 12 and under will be allowed to take part in the AACA Museum’s “Trunk or Treat” program.

2 . PYOP: Pick Your Own Produce at These Local Farms
Hollin Farms Delaplane, VAHollin Farms’ strawberry picking season will begin in late May, and last several weeks. Hours are 9:00 am-4:00 pm from Wednesday to Sunday. If you come in summer, peaches, blackberries, red raspberries and sour cherries are available. Apples are ready in late summer, and fall brings green vegetables, potatoes, and dig-your-own peanuts. And a special P.S. (备注) to meat lovers: they pride themselves on their grass-fed beef.
Great Country Farms Bluemont, VAGreat Country Farms is well-known for its seasonal festivals and fun farm-themed attractions. Their U-pick strawberry fields will open in May. The weekends of May 20-21 and May 27-28 are the yearly Strawberry Jubilee with live music, pie-eating competitions, tasty food, and more. Admission is $10/child and $12/adult, and it’s open daily during 9:00 am-6:00 pm.
Waters Orchard (果园) Gaithersburg, MDThis is a great place for apple picking. Just come in late summer and fall. After parking, it’s a 5-10 minutes’ walk to the orchard. Hours are12:00-5:00 pm on Fridays, and 9:00 am-5:00 pm on weekends. Pick-your-own (PYO) pricing is by the peck (配克) — $15/half peck, $22/peck, and an entry fee for two is included. It’s $5/guest after that.
Homestead Farm Poolesville, MDHomestead Farm’s PYO season begins a little later than other area farms. The first crop will be tart cherries in June, and other berries will be ripe soon after. Peaches and apples come later. There are also animals to visit (goats, pigs, and chickens), and watching goats climb along the goat walk is always a trip for kids. The farm operates seven days a week, and PYO hours are 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

Catalina Sea Camp
Catalina Sea Camp is an adventure camp in Catalina Island, California. It’s perfect for kids aged 8~17 who enjoy being out in the ocean and participating in thrilling water sports and activities. Camp Wicosuta
This is a summer camp in New Hampshire. This particular summer camp is intended specially for teenage girls that want to spend a little time outdoors. Each sleep-away camp session is broken down into four individual weeks and the entire program is based on celebrating confidence, competence and communication.
iD Tech Camp
iD Tech Camp is a virtual technology camp for teens. At their online camp, teens receive a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education while making friends with other students. Their expert instructors have years of experience and often come from well-known universities like Stanford, California Institute of Technology and New York University. The vast majority of students who attend the camps take part in STEM programs at universities, making it perfect for high school students who want a future career in the STEM field.

Youth Explorer has prepared you with a Three-Day-Program! You can take part in many activities and meet with animals — lions, monkeys, tigers and so on! More information about the program is as follows:

The Brooklyn Children’s Museum has something for kids of all ages. With fun, educational exhibits(展览)that teach children about world cultures, history, science and nature, including live animals and a collection of 30,000 historical objects, even parents will enjoy it. There’s also a special area for children under five, with activities for the youngest of youngster.
New York Hall of Science

Kids get hands-on experience with science and technology at this place that offers more than 450 exhibits. There are a few worthwhile things to spend money on during your visit: a round of Rocket Park Mini Golf, a turn in the 60, 000-square-foot Science Playground and a screening inside the 3-D theater.
Queens County Farm Museum

It is one of the longest continually farmed sites in New York State. Feed and pet animals like sheep, ponies and goats, tour farm buildings from three different centuries, and come back during fall when you can go pumpkin picking. 9 . UC Berkeley Youth Recreation Summer Camps
UC Berkeley Youth Recreation will provide a wide variety of one-week outdoor experiences and activities for the youth on summer camps 2023. Here are four best summer camps.
Windsurfing Camp
This camp is designed to teach students the basics of windsurfing, including balance and self-rescues. Through a combination of classroom instruction, demonstration and water time campers are able to master the basics of the sport. A comfort with wind and water is strongly encouraged. Campers must be ages 10-17 to register. All campers must be able to swim and weigh 100 pounds or more to safely use public windsurfing equipment.
Price: $330. Those who have participated before can receive 10% off.
Sailing Camp
Campers learn and review the essentials of sailing at their experience level on the beautiful San Francisco Bay! 2023 brings exciting updates to the camp and helps sailors master new skills. Previous sailing experience is required. Campers must be ages 12-18 to register. All campers must have basic swimming skills.
Price: $255
Skateboarding Camp
In this camp, skateboarders will learn mechanics and basic riding skills such as balance riding switches, and dropping-in. Skaters will be assessed of the first day of the session and the lessons will be adapted to their ability. All participants are educated in skateboard safety. Campers must be ages 8-16 to register. Participants must bring their own skateboard, helmet(头盔) and knee &elbow pads(护具).
Price: $300. $240 per person for group registration.
Rock Climbing Camp
Learn climbing skills, knot(结) -tying, top-rope climbing and equipment care. Sites include Strawberry Canyon, Remillard, Indian Rock and Cragmont Parks. Campers must be ages 9-15 to register. All campers can enjoy the bus service to and from the campsites.
