The other day, I discover I couldn't move my right arm and fingers after sleeping through a flight. Having diagnosed me with neural injury, the doctor suggested I could try acupuncture(针灸). So I followed his advices and began my treatment. Dozens tiny needles were inserted across my arm and fingers. I dared not move, because even a small change of position could cause a acute pain. Two weeks went by since I could eat a meal with chopsticks and it took a month for my arm and fingers to return back to their normal functions. I was very amazing at how magic these needles were. That I had always considered old-fashioned and useless turned out to be of great use. I hope acupuncture, with its help I recovered, will continue to bring health to other people.

Dear John,
I’m greatly honouring to share with you about my opinion of further my study in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at that famous university.
With history of over 2000 years, TCM is wide known for it has formed a unique system to diagnose and cure illness. Generations of Chinese people as well as foreigners benefit from them. I feel really pride whenever I see patients of my father and grandfather to leave the clinics with satisfaction and hope. Just like me, many classmates of mine have made up their mind to succeed traditional Chinese doctors’ career and majored in TCM to become doctors. I believe it’ll turn up an excellent cause for me to pursue.
Best wishes.
Yours,
Li Hua

I have been delighting that finally a summer camp will be organize during the last week of the summer vacation. The camp includes various course such as cooking, swimming and giving first aid. I plan to sign up the course of giving first aid.
I choose to attend the course due to the fact that first aid is greatly important to people. If a person gets injured and need urgent medical care before a doctor arrives, every second counts, in that case giving first aid can even help save life. Nowadays, more and more people have realized what important first aid is.
Besides, I plan to study the medicine and devote my life to medical research. Hopeful, the course will help them learn more medical knowledge to deal with emergencies.

I live alone in a rented room. A few days ago, I had serious headache. I had no friends near me who could take care of me, that made me very scared. So I texted my English teacher and asked for her kindly help. She visited to me soon later and took me to the hospital immediately. Give me some medicine, the doctor then advised me to staying in bed and have a good rest. After going home with my teacher, I took the medicine and went to sleep. Considering her poor health, my teacher cooked a meal and did some houseworks for me. Seeing the note she had left when I get up, I felt extreme grateful to my warm-hearted English teacher.
