The journey was long and tired. We left London at five o'clock in the evening and spend eight hours in the train. We had been travelled for 3 hours after someone appeared selling food and drinks. It was darkness all the time we were crossing Wales, but we could see nothing through the windows. When we finally arrived Holyhead nearly everyone was slept. As soon as the train stopped, everybody come to life, grabbing their suitcase and rushing onto the platform.

Last month, I, together with my parents, were invited to my uncle's home in Beijing. My uncle, whose moved to Beijing when I was five, has been living there for nearly ten years. He meets us at the airport. The moment I arrived Beijing, I was so exciting. In the following days, we visited some places of interest and took photos in the front of TianAnMen Square. We both enjoyed visiting the Forbidden City because it deep impressed us. For me, this is one of the most rewarding trip I have ever made in my life and am looking forward to go there again.
In the summer holiday, we travelled to Qingdao and paid visit to my uncle there.
It was a long and bored journey. But the moment I arrived, I fall in love with the city. It's such beautiful a city that I can hardly find any word to describe them.
The streets are clean but the sky is blue. If you walk along the coast, you can feel the wind to blowing on your face. The sea is vast and sometimes you can find a boat or a ship. You may also do some fishing as long as it's permitted. Moreover, I think the driver there drive too fast in the street. You can never be too careful when cross the street.

Last Sunday, sixty students from our school pay a visit to China Science and Technology Museum.
The museum, which main task is to spread the knowledge of science and technology, covers area of 48,000 square meters. The moment when we entered the museum, the exhibition caught their attention. In the museum, we saw the latest progresses in science and technology. Moreover, we did an amazed scientific experiment by ourselves. What appealed for us most was the 3D film that made us feel we were in real events.
Though the visiting time was slight short, we gained a lot. It is so an instructive activity that we hope more will be organized in the future.
