The journey was long and tired. We left London at five o'clock in the evening and spend eight hours in the train. We had been travelled for 3 hours after someone appeared selling food and drinks. It was darkness all the time we were crossing Wales, but we could see nothing through the windows. When we finally arrived Holyhead nearly everyone was slept. As soon as the train stopped, everybody come to life, grabbing their suitcase and rushing onto the platform.

Last month, I, together with my parents, were invited to my uncle's home in Beijing. My uncle, whose moved to Beijing when I was five, has been living there for nearly ten years. He meets us at the airport. The moment I arrived Beijing, I was so exciting. In the following days, we visited some places of interest and took photos in the front of TianAnMen Square. We both enjoyed visiting the Forbidden City because it deep impressed us. For me, this is one of the most rewarding trip I have ever made in my life and am looking forward to go there again.

Last Sunday, I visited the Beijing Zoo with my parents. We set off very early at 7:30am, and we didn’t arrive until 9:45 am because the heavy traffic. That afternoon aboard the train, the cousins settled down in their seat. They manage to catch sight of some mountain goats or even a grizzly bear. They had learned where most Canadians live within 320 kilometers of the USA border and the population is only slightly over thirty million.

I like travelling and my dream of visiting Beijing, the capital city of our country, come true during the National Day holidays this year. My mother booked an one-day tour for me. On the morning of October 1st I went to Tian’anmen Square with one of my classmates , there we watched the flag-raising ceremony. As I watched the flag rising slowly, I sang the national anthem, feeling extreme proud. Several hours later, a grand military parade was held mark the People's Republic of China's 70th founding anniversary. In the afternoon we decided to go to other famous tourist attraction, like the Great Wall. When we reached the destination, it was crowded with tourists. I was glad for which those volunteers had done for little kids and elderly people . Standing on the Great wall, we couldn’t help admire the splendid scenery. This travelling, with doubt, meant a lot of to me.

In the summer holiday, we travelled to Qingdao and paid visit to my uncle there.
It was a long and bored journey. But the moment I arrived, I fall in love with the city. It's such beautiful a city that I can hardly find any word to describe them.
The streets are clean but the sky is blue. If you walk along the coast, you can feel the wind to blowing on your face. The sea is vast and sometimes you can find a boat or a ship. You may also do some fishing as long as it's permitted. Moreover, I think the driver there drive too fast in the street. You can never be too careful when cross the street.

Then just as he came out of the abbey, Pingyu heard the famous sound of the clock Big Ben, ring out the hour.
The next day Pingyu was leaving London to Windsor Castle. “Perhaps I will see the Queen？” she wondered as she fall asleep.

To climb the mountains was hardly work but as we looked around us, we were surprising by the view. We seemed to be able to see for miles. On one point we were so high that we found us cycling through clouds. Then we began going down the hills. It was a great fun especially as it gradually became much warm. In the valleys colorful butterflies flew around me and we saw many yaks and sheep eat green grass. At this point we had change our caps, coats, gloves and trousers with T-shirts and shorts.
