With the improvement of people’s living standards, cars have become popular means of transport, bring great convenience to our life. Therefore, they have also caused some problems such as air pollutions and traffic jams.
How can we solve these problems then? As far as I am concerning, riding bicycles is a good solution. For one thing, bicycles don’t need any petrol and they are energy-saving. For another, bicycles are environmental friendly because of they won’t give off waste gas. Besides, riding bicycles was a good way for us to exercise and it is beneficial for our health.
As a result, let’s take the responsibility to build up a low-carbon city by riding bicycles. Come on and join them.
Last Sunday, my family went for walk in a nearby park. We wanted to breathe the fresh air and having fun there. However, when gone out, we found it was cloudy and smoggy (烟雾弥漫的). Only a few people were walking quick on the streets wearing their masks. I was wondering what was the matter when my little brother begins to cough loudly. These days, breaking traffic rules and littering were not uncommon, causing serious harms to life and the environment. That requires lots of effort to change this situation on the part of everyone. As for me, I should start from little things and it won’t be long since I acquire good habits. If I ride a bike, I’ll always keep to the right but never cross a road until the traffic light turns green. If I walk, I’ll never forget use the pedestrian crossing. Meanwhile, I will regard it as my duty to help keep our environment clean and health. Not only will I keep myself on littering and spitting, I will also help clean up the roadside litter whenever be possible. I hope my behavior will make the difference.
The environment pollution became more and more serious today. We will have no clean water to drink because of water pollution. And when trees cut down, some animals disappear. There is more and more of dirty smoke in the air. People’s health has been great affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people have died of diseases causing by pollution. In order to live the better life, it’s time for us to protect our world. We should recycle, reduce and reuse things, that saves money and reduces pollution. Use things as long as possibly. Don’t use plastic bag. Besides, we must plant more trees and stop people cutting it clown. We hope our world will he more and more beautiful.

Two years ago, when I went to the kitchen for a cup of milk, a magazine lay open on the table drew my attention. An article about environmental protection written by an university professor was on this page. That was a popular magazine which was sold well at that time. From the article, I got plenty of informations. I learned about some problems the earth was faced with and got some suggestions on what they could do to save our planet in an effectively way. From then on, I had been applying myself to protect the environment. While the problem of pollution is universal and we are likely to run out some natural resources, it's time that everybody took action.
Last week several places in our city were blanketed thick yellow fog. Everything disappeared from sights, highways were closed and traffic jams are commonly seen in the streets. Many people, especial children and the old, had to stay indoors. As a result local hospitals were crowded with people which had problems with his noses and lungs. The polluting environment contributed a lot to this. To have a cleaner air we have to do more to protecting the environment. To live a better life we have to push on with the economy, and it will be meaningless if we have to achieve it at the cost of our air.

It is important to deal with the rubbish in cities. Many citizens who unaware of the importance of protecting the environment throw away their rubbish in a way unfriendly to the environment. Rubbish must be treated properly. Thus, it may cause a lot of problems. It may result in the air and water is polluted. When people breathe and drink which has been polluted, we will get ill.
To our happiness, our city has begun to pay attention to the problems. As far as I know, some rubbish is sorted and sent to different factory. Rubbish, such as glass and old newspapers, are recycled. Some harmful rubbish is sent to the certain place and buried. Waste air is cleaned before it goes into the air. Waste water is treated before it is poured into rivers. To protect the environment, the government has passed laws to prevent people from throwing rubbish everywhere, made our city much cleaner than before. As individuals, we should do our part to fight against illegal actions at anytime we find them.

There is too many people and too many pollution on the earth. If we moved to the moon one day，how would life be like there?
In my opinion, life would be much more comfort on the moon than on the earth. There wouldn't be pollution or traffic jam. We could go wherever we like in one minute by the spaceship, which would be much fast than a train or an airplane. We would eat whatever you like without being concerned unhealthy ingredients. This is a place where I am always dreaming about.

Our life today has many problems. One of the biggest problems are pollution. Water pollution has made our rivers and lakes dirty. It killed our fish and pollutes our drinking water. Noise pollution makes us to talk louder and become angry more easy. Air pollution is the most serious kind of pollution, that is bad for living things in the world.
We need to do a lot of thing to fight pollution. Factories must clean our waste water before it poured. We can’t throw waste things on the ground. We can go to work by bus and with our friends in a same car. Everybody must help to fight pollution.
