Wikipedia，the online encyclopedia(百科全书), is the largest encyclopedia ever. An encyclopedia is a collection of informative articles about    1     (variety) things. Encyclopedias used to be printed    2     books. Now,   they are mostly found online.

“Wiki” is an Internet term    3     (mean) “a website that can be edited by the public”. It comes from “wikiwiki”, a Hawaiian word for “quick”. Two Americans, Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger, created Wikipedia in 2001. It is now the fifth-most    4     (visit) website on the Internet. However, critics have raised doubts about the accuracy and authority Wikipedia’s content since its editors are mostly amateurs rather than professionals.
