Last Saturday I took part a farm work program in the suburbs, which really impressed me. Before an activity, our team leader told us some specific arrangements about it. Its theme was “Labor is the most glory”. Meanwhile, he stressed the importance or value of working with our own hands. Unable to hold back my happiness, I pictured that was to come next. On the farm, we worked hard with the farmers, picking watermelons and carried them to the truck. While I was working, I had realized how tough it was to work in the fields in the burning sun. Thank you for your e-mail. I am glad tell you something about our English Club, which is set up by the Student Union last year. Students who are interest in English gather at the school hall in every Saturday afternoon. We usually see English movie, learn to sing English songs but debate on hot topics. Through these activities, we can broaden us horizons and learn about the west culture. Of course, we have a great fun. The English Club benefit us a lot in many ways.

Nowadays, students are paying less and less attention to handwriting.

According to a survey, about 85.8 percent of middle school students think that their handwriting is poorly. Yet for various reason, many students don't want to improve their handwriting. 51.5 percent think that they can use a computer, so there is not need to waste the time improving their handwriting. 32.3 percent believe that they are such busy with the study that they don't have time practice. 10.9 percent think that practice handwriting is useless.

Writing style show the man. Beautiful handwriting is very benefit, especially for middle school students. Therefore, in my opinion, more emphasis should be placed in this aspect.
