There are many benefits of keeping a journal when you’re traveling. It helps you remember your visit and learn more culture and customs. Also, it helps you reflect on what you have learned.
Write about what you imagine it will be like
Sometimes when you travel, your destination is wildly different than what you expected. Maybe you expected the local food to be bad but it turned out to be delicious.
Write during your trip
Even though your journal is meant for writing, pictures are still worth a thousand words. Combining pictures with your first-hand accounts of what they represent, or what happened when they were taken will make for an even more comprehensive narrative of your travels.

But this Park serves as an opportunity to learn more about the lesser-known Kalanianaole, who is so respected in Hawaii that his birthday, March 26th, is a state holiday. Most visitors to Hilo are so focused on Hawaii Volcanoes National Park that they don’t take time to experience the town itself. Liliuokalani Park at sunset is especially nice, thanks to its ocean views.

The Shaanxi History Museum displays 370, 000 relics found in Shaanxi, China, including bronze wares (青铜器), pottery figures, gold and silverwares, and Tang Dynasty murals. 18 pieces are national treasures. Xi’an, the former capital, has many historical sites. The museum is divided into three sections, exhibiting artifacts from primitive eras to the late Qing Dynasty.
