Many people think you’re either a creative person or you’re not. While I agree that some people may be slightly more creative than others, I think creativity is a muscle that can be exercised and improved upon.
1. Consume content outside your comfort zone.
We all love reading about stuff in our industry.
2. Do the “No Bad Ideas Brainstorming” exercise.
Get at least one other person to join you for a 45-60 minute brainstorm. No technology and no criticism. Bring a topic or idea to the table and write down all your ideas(on actual paper).
3.
There are studies upon studies that discuss how our diet affects the way we think. Want to start thinking differently? Start giving your body different(and healthier) fuel. You’d be shocked how much more creatively you can think and act when you eat a healthier diet.
4. See a movie in a theater.
Movies on the big scene are one of the last few places you can enjoy a complete sensory experience. The giant bright screen. The thundering surround sound. The smell and taste of fresh popcorn. The somewhat uncomfortable seat with plastic armrests that don’t move.
A.It may help with motivation |
B.Start thinking in a different way |
C.Fuel yourself with different diets |
D.And don’t comment on a single idea |
E.But typically this doesn’t boost creativity |
F.The key is how to get your creativity strengthened |
G.Whenever you leave the theatre, your mind will be filled with ideas |

If you want your children to become ready, willing and able gardeners, here are the steps you should take early.
Get your children interested
The first step is to get your child interested in plants.
Teach your children well
Children are not old enough to care for a plant by themselves. They need adults to teach them and set an example. They copy adults.
Give them a job
Most important, however, is to have the proper attitude as head gardener and teacher. Adults’ teaching a child about gardening needs an easygoing attitude. Learning is about making mistakes. It is usually stepping on plants and accidentally pulling things that are not weeds. Sometimes they remove all the flowers. Instead of getting angry, just put the flowers into containers and set them near the bare plants.
A.Give them guidance |
B.Take it easy in the garden |
C.Children love gardening |
D.Don’t forget that children like responsibility |
E.So let them see how much you enjoy working with plants |
F.This is a bit difficult because of competition from electronics |
G.The little attitude adjustment on your part will surely lead to their lasting passion for gardening |

It is well know that women live longer on average than men — and some researchers claim this is because they are better at visiting their doctor and voicing any concerns about their health, rather than sticking their heads in the sand.
Not smoking, not being overweight and taking sufficient exercise keep your heart and blood vessels healthy for longer — and all that is good for your brain, too.
One popular theory about aging concerns the damage caused to the tissues in our bodies by “free radicals (自由基)”. Our immune system makes these free radicals ineffective using antioxidant (抗氧化剂) nutrients such as vitamins A and C, and the theory is that a diet high in such “antioxidants” will help you hold back the the years. In fact, though there is no doubt among scientists that free radicals harm the body, there is no hard proof that aging is caused simply by a lack of sufficient antioxidants in our bodies or our food.
Another theory growing in popularity holds that we can stay alive longer by eating less, for an experiment concluded mice live longer when fed 30 percent fewer calories. Though the beneficial effect has since been found in other species, including fruit flies, what we really want to know is how this applies to humans. The answer may be found in long-term experiments in the U.S. using rhesus monkeys, which are closely related to us in evolutionary terms. However, though the aging process is slower in those animals, monkeys on the calorie restriction group do not appear to live longer.
