Travelling with friends can be an amazing experience where you could make lifelong memories or it could ruin (毁掉) your friendship.     1    Here are some rules you should follow to make sure your next trip with friends goes as smoothly as possible.

2    Sure, you and your friends probably have some similar interests, but that’s not always the case. In an effort to keep everyone happy, go over travel plans and expectations ahead of time. Have each person categorize (分类) activities or sights into “must-see” “want to see” and “would go if we have time”. Plan accordingly and make sure everyone can see some of their top attractions.

Communicate and respect each other. Everyone has personal preferences when travelling — from getting the bed closest to the bathroom or sitting in the airplane’s window seat. But sometimes things don’t go as you like. In this case, share your requirements directly with your travel companions.     3    Have a conversation when problems arise, for communication is the key.

Don’t disappear. When travelling with a group — or even just one other person — you may want some alone time. That’s completely fine, but make sure your friends know where you are and have a way of contacting you.     4    .

Get off your phone. Of course, your friends will understand if you need to take a call from a family member, or in the event of a work emergency, but other than that, try to stay off your phone.     5    After all, the appeal of this type of trip is to spend time with friends. Just enjoy it!

A.Anyway, give each other some space.
B.Include at least one activity for everyone.
C.And remember that consideration and respect go a long way.
D.At the same time, listen to their concerns and be respectful of them.
E.Don’t respond to less important work contact or send messages frequently.
F.It’s especially true of travelling in foreign countries or unfamiliar places.
G.So it’s important to make sure you and your friend(s) are on the same page.

【推荐2】For most students, writing more clearly persuasively presents a great challenge.     1    Few of them, though, focus on filling their essays with necessary information and details, let alone organizing the information.

In order to make an essay convincing, students should know how to select the necessary information and details.     2     Information that can help students clarify and better convey their ideas is certainly important. To figure out what this is, you should make sure you understand the theme of the essay.     3

Suppose you were asked to write an essay describing a memorable event in your life. You should start off by thinking about the events you’ve experienced, and why a particular event is especially memorable to you.     4     While writing the essay, you should constantly remind yourself that since the event must be a memorable one, you should pay attention to describing the details that make it so special.

5     Indeed, before you include any information in your essay, you should think about how to link reasons, examples and details together before you start writing. Only then will you be able to produce a strong and coherent (连贯的) essay.

A.But how do you know what to include?
B.Good writing is sure to leave a deep impression on the readers.
C.Through this process, you can choose a meaningful experience.
D.You can begin with a question, such as why I’m writing this essay.
E.Many can write grammatically correct sentences and choose proper words.
F.However, even if you think of good reasons and examples, you must try to organize your essay well.
G.Only after clearly understanding the topic can you choose proper reasons and examples to support your ideas.

【推荐3】I was ever bullied badly when I was in high school. One kid in particular would try to make me feel worse in every way he knew. For example, he would throw stuff at me constantly, hit me on the head, punch(殴打)me, call me ugly and stupid, make fun of me and, of course tell me he would beat me up if I ever fought back. It was like his daily mission.

And it was my daily mission to just get through the day. What could I say? It made my world very small because that was my main focus- just surviving. Everything else fell by the wayside. Unfortunately, that included any form of social life. So not only was my world tiny, but it was very lonely

Looking back to that time, which was about 11years ago, my biggest mistake was not bringing anyone into that world of mine. I was too proud (and embarrassed) to get help. I would rather not face the fact that I needed help because in my mind, that would mean that the bully won. It would also mean that I was weak.

Let me just say this: bullying someone is a weak choice. The only reason why they come after you is that they think you won't do anything about it. Does that make anyone strong? Absolutely not. Be stronger-ask a parent, a teacher or a friend for help. Simply admit that you are struggling and need help.

You can put it like this, "Somebody who is weak and trying to build himself or herself up has chosen to do that by putting me down. The only reason why they are doing that is that I am nice and I haven't done anything about it yet. Well I am through putting up with this. I have basic human rights that they are trying to take away to feel better and that is just not OK. How do I handle this? I don't want the pain cycle to continue and I don't want to become someone I don't want to be.
