I try my best put myself in the local culture. The following two ways always make this easier to do this: either you stay there longer or you visit it more frequent. Once you don't regard yourself to a tourist, you will start seeing things in the different way and start experiencing things like a local person. One of my longest trip was recently in Xi'an, when I stayed for a month. As days went by, life moves forward from take long walks to tasting delicious local foods. I'd never been enjoyed these before that trip, so I have decided to go for a much longer stay next time I travel.

   Friendship is very importance. Everyone needs friendship. In all your lives we can’t live without friendship just as we can’t live without air and water. Friendship makes us getting on well with one another to go ahead under different kind of difficulties in front of us. But real friendship was not easy to come by. True friendship must be sincere and be based on understanding each other but not on benefits of each other. A good of friend can always be a good teacher to us. By his advices we are persuading to go the right way. However, the more friends we have, better we can improve ourselves.

A recent situation made I realize that breaking promises might unintentionally hurt others’ feelings. It has happened a month ago when a classmate asked me to help him move house. I was unwilling to refuse the request directly, so I promised to assisting him. Later, I just didn’t bother to turn out to help him because I was absorbing in my studies. When I ran into him next day, he told me I had real let him down. He still forgives me without a second thought, but I felt ashamed by myself. Since then, I hadn’t made a promise that I couldn’t keep.

Last year, when I was trying to decide if to study overseas,I talked to my friend. This was the better thing I could have done. This was a big decision for me because I had ever been overseas on my own and I was not sure if I could do it. She had studied overseas previous year. She told me about the challenges and opportunity I might come across and help me make the right decision. I went and it was amazed.

Whenever I face with an important decision, I seek advice from another. In this way, I am well-informed but have the benefit of their ideas and experiences.
