I always go shopping here because it’s the closest to my home. People can buy the cheapest things. But there is a bad thing. The assistants here aren’t friendly. They always ask you to buy things you don’t need at all.

People’s Park

It’s the best place to go to on weekends. There are beautiful trees and flowers. The most important thing is that it is free for visitors. However, sometimes it’s kind of crowded because of too many people.

Many people have weight(体重) problems. These problems are bad for their health. One of the biggest reasons is that we sit around too much. So, the best way to lose weight is to move your body.

Turn off the TV. It’s the first thing you need to do. Once a week, turn off the TV and play some sports with your family. You can do something more interesting than sitting in front of the TV, such as playing games and taking a walk.

Walk more. Look for small ways to walk more. When you get the mail, take a walk around the house. Take the dog for a walk each day or ride your bike for 10 minutes before getting ready for work.

Do some housework. Watering the flowers, cleaning the windows, washing clothes and so on. These kinds of activities may not be vigorous(有力的) exercise, but they can keep you moving.

One day, I took my two kids to a playground. As soon as we got there, my daughter ran to the swing and asked for a push (推). When I was helping my daughter go higher, I saw another girl trying to make her swing go higher. But it was quite difficult for her.

I gave my daughter one big push and then walked to the girl. I asked her if she wanted me to push her. She said, “Yes!” For the next two hours, I pushed swings and played with my children and the girl. When we went back home, I was very tired, but I felt happy.

Two years later, I was always tired after a long day’s work. But every day, I needed to pick up my kids before going home. One day, when I stood in the parents’ waiting area (区), a girl hugged (拥抱) me. I looked down and found she was the girl on the playground. She gave me one big hug before getting on the school bus. As I watched her back, I didn’t feel tired anymore.

In life, the love we give to others will find its way back to us again.
