Their children love music, but the families can’t afford to buy an instrument for them. “Children are born musicians.” Hesus says the only way he can get the instrument into the hands of many future musicians is to make them himself. But how could he get so much money to make the violins?
One day, he saw some empty bottles and wood in his house, he had a good idea: Why not reuse these materials to make violins? So he’s been crafting (手工制作) his own violins out of recycled materials—wood, plastic bottles, and of course, strings (线) …
The total cost of per violin made by him is about twenty dollars. That’s much less than the cost of a real violin, which is about a hundred and fifty dollars. Hesus calls the instrument he makes a bottle-phone violin.
