Where was the boy? He was at the school gate letting some ducks into the school. On hearing the noise, many children came out of their classrooms to watch the funny sight.
Farmer Huang came back just in time to catch the boy. He then went after the ducks. He made a funny quacking sound and the ducks began to come to him. He happily put them back into their cages, changed the wheel and drove off, leaving the boy in the hands of the school master.

A good relationship between students and teachers makes the classroom a very inviting place. When you like your teacher,it's easier to pay attention to his explanations and improve your grades. When you consider your teacher a friend, you'll certainly have more respect for him. When your teachers consider you to be a friend and not only a student, they'll feel freer in class to make their classes more lively and interesting. Now here are some tips to develop a friendly relationship with your teachers:
Ask questions. If you have any questions about that subject, ask them. Show them that you're interested in their subject. That will make them notice you. But never ask questions that you already know the answer to. If so,they might think that you're not actually trying to learn.
Talk about non-school subjects. When you see one of your teachers in the hall, greet him and ask if he's going to that concert or if he's seen that movie. That way you'll show that you consider him a friend. Some teachers don't like to have a friendly relationship with a student, but most of them want to have those simple talks with their students. And after a while, they will start to talk with you about non-school subjects in the class. That will make more students in your class get involved(参与)in those talks, and everyone will start to consider that teacher to be a friend.
Teachers will always be teachers. Don't forget that no matter what good relationship you two have, you should respect them.
46. What does the first paragraph mainly talk about?A.Why students should have a good relationship with teachers. |

Some people have to use public transport. Some dislike it and still some love it. If everyone has a car and drives anywhere they want to go,there will be serious traffic problems on the road. Luckily, trains are a good form of public transport.
British people use trains a lot. This is especially so for people who are travelling from London to Paris. Every day about 20 trains leave London. They travel at a very high speed and people feel glad that the trains take only 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach Paris. It's much faster to travel by train than by bus or by car. This is because people have to drive cars or buses very carefully and slowly for many reasons, such as speed limits and traffic jams(拥堵). However, when you are travelling by train, the speed is almost the same and there is no traffic jam for a train.
Besides,Londoners think taking a train is one of the safest ways of travelling on the ground. Trains take quite a number of quality tests while they are made. More importantly, they have to take many safety checks before they are used on the railway.
What's more, trains in Britain are comfortable. They provide fine services for their users. When you are on London train, you will find that the train has comfortable tables and seats where people can sit. They also provide food services and power plugs(电源插头)for personal computers or mobile phones.
51. Why do people like taking a train from London to Paris?(in no more than 10words)52. How long does it take Londoners to reach Paris?(in no more than 6 words)

How to Improve English Handwriting?
Now students' English handwriting gets worse and worse. That makes their teachers feel worried. Is your English handwriting beautiful? If not, here are four steps that really work!
Use paper with lines
Using paper with lines can keep you writing straight instead of up or down when you write English words or sentences. Those lines on the paper can help you to write words in the right size. Be sure to fill the lined space completely. And make sure those capital letters(大写字母)are written properly.
Slow down
If your writing is hard to read, try slowing down a little. For some kids, going slower makes the handwriting clear. If you write too fast,it's hard for you to stop where you should, and even worse, you may make more mistakes.
Hold your pencil right
When you hold your pencil in the correct way, writing is much easier. Some kids press down really hard when they write. That makes the handwriting not nice. Try to be relaxed and don't hold the pencil so hard. Let your writing appear nice and clean. If you do so,people will guess you are a student with a good habit.
Draw more pictures
Drawing can improve your handwriting. You need to use the skills to control your pencil better when you are drawing pictures. Even though you have no chance to draw at school, you can practice by yourself at home.
Handwriting is very important. Imagine you are a world-famous movie star or a well-known sports player, what do yon do when your fans run up to you?
Give them your autographs(亲笔签名),of course!
