And he always leaves people he meets______better. That is far beyond anything I have.

______, my son has taught me more about how to live and love than I could have ever learned on my own. The truth is______of us in this life have Special Needs and Special Gifts. Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge and all the others, including Love lived on an island. One day they were told the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean, so all the feelings prepared their boats to survive.

Love was the last to leave. Just then Richness was passing by. Love asked, “Can I come with you on your boat? ” “I’m sorry, but it is full of gold, ” answered Richness, “there would be no room for you anywhere.”

Then Love decided to ask Vanity（虚荣）for help. “I can’t help you. You’re all wet and will damage my beautiful boat, ”Vanity replied.

Next Love saw Sadness going by. “Please let me go with you.”Sadness answered, “Love, I’m sorry, but I just need to be alone now.”

Then Love saw Happiness, he shouted for help. But Happiness was too overjoyed to hear her. Love began to cry. Just then, she heard a voice, “Come, Love, I will take you with me.” It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land, the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed（亏欠）the elder.

Later she asked Knowledge, “Who was it that helped me? ” “It was Time.” Knowledge said. “But why did Time help me when no one else would? ”Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom（智慧）, answered, “Because only Time is able to understand how great Love is!”

When it comes to exercise, playground, parks or outdoor activities would come to our mind. Yet you may as well try the following while staying at home.

★Walking     It will help to strengthen your legs. It is also low impact aerobic（环保有氧）exercise. Just walk around the house a few times—it may not be exciting, but it will do the job!

★Skipping     It is always fun. Who hasn’t done jumping the rope for fun as a child? It is also a good way to lose weight.

★Pushups     It’s probably not the most favorite exercise of many people, but you can find easier ways. Do them on your knees instead of keeping your legs straight. Or do them standing up against a wall. You’ll be building up arm strength and working out muscles（肌肉）in your chest area.

★Leg Lifts   These are great for building up strength and muscles in your legs. If you find it hard to do it with your legs straight, try bending（弯曲）them a little.

★Jogging in place       Slow running is good for your heart. You can jog in place at home while watching TV or listening to music. All you need is a pair of shoes to keep your legs comfortable.

★Dancing   It is a wonderful exercise for your heart. Besides, it can lift your spirit and make you full of confidence.

A number of amazing plants grow in the nature world, including bamboo. Many people prefer to call it a tree because of its shape and size. In fact, it is a kind of grass.

Like other kinds of grass, a bamboo plant may be cut very low to the ground, but it will grow back very quickly. A Japanese scientist recorded one bamboo plant which grew almost 1.5 metres in 24 hours! Bamboo grows almost everywhere in the world except Europe. There are more than 1, 000 kinds of bamboo which grow around the world on both mountains and plains（平原）.

Not all bamboo looks the same. Some are very thin. They may only grow to be a few centimeters wide while others may grow to more than 30 centimeters across. This plant also comes in a variety of colors, from gold to black to green.

Bamboo has been used to make many things, such day-to-day items as hats and kitchen tools. Because it is strong, bamboo can also be used to build buildings.

Many Asian countries have been using bamboo for hundreds of years. They often use bamboo for building and supporting new buildings while they are being built. The cables（缆绳）which hold up the hanging bridge across the Min River in Sichuan, China are made of bamboo. The bridge has been in use for more than 1, 000 years, and it is still holding strong.

As we know, pandas feed on the plant of bamboo. But not all of them fill their appetite（胃口）, only about 20 kinds of them can be their fine food.

As you grow rapidly through your teenage years, you will experience a lot of changes. The changes may seem difficult and they may seem to happen quickly. Don’t panic（恐慌）! You will deal successfully with them! You are a young adult now!

With more responsibility, you will find more freedom to make your own choices. This is a time to be well informed（知晓）about your choices so that you can make healthy balanced decisions that will help shape your future. You may already know your career path or you may have no idea at all what you want to do. Both situations are fine! Work hard and the right opportunity will present itself to you.

Young adulthood means greater freedom and more choices. You will probably want to be independent. But try not to shut your family out of your life. You should learn to think of others even though you are old enough to look after yourself. Your family have been with you since you came into this world.

It is also perfectly natural in this time for you to spend more time with your friends than your family. Choose your friends wisely. A true friend will stand by you no matter what happens. This period is part of the life cycle. There are some people who will be with you throughout life’s journey and there will be some people with whom you part（分离）and go separate ways. Leaving school can be hard. The reality is that you may not ever see all of your classmates again.

You are a young adult. It is your life. No one can live it for you. The choices that you make from now on will be your choices. So making the right choices will be important to you. Life is for living. Enjoy your life wisely!

Nowadays a variety of environment-friendly products appear in our daily life. When you buy a product of Forgo’s new liquid hand wash, you won’t get a single-use plastic bottle, just a small envelope. But if you tear open it, put the powder（粉末）into a reusable bottle, add tap water and shake, you’ll have foaming（泡沫）hand wash in less than one minute.

Liquid products carry plenty of water, and they will increase transportation cost. So the new type of product is environmental protection for packaging and transport.
