Fryderyk F. Chopin was born in March, 1810 in Poland. He was one of the greatest musicians in the world. In 1831, when he went to Paris, no one knew he could play the piano very well.
At that time in Paris the most popular musician is the Hungarian(匈牙利)pianist Franz Liszt.
One night, at a concert, when Liszt went to the piano and all the people shouted his name. When the worker turned off all the lights in the concert, a wonderful piano concert started. The music was so good that the listeners were all greatly interested.
They kept praising(夸奖)the pianist and thought that Liszt was much talented in playing the piano. It felt like that he had already reached something new in playing the piano.
At last, all the lights were turned on again as the music came to an end. And there stood a young man but not the famous Hungarian pianist Franz Liszt.
Liszt planned all this. When the lights were turned off, Liszt left his chair and let Chopin take his place, so with the help of Liszt and his own talent, Chopin soon became famous.

One evening, Deenu was returning home after selling milk in the village. He saw an old man sitting under a tree meditating (冥想). So he walked up quietly. “Can I help you?” the man asked with his eyes closed.
“Yes. I want to know how to change the world. Everything in nature is so beautiful, but there are so many bad people who only care about themselves. What can I do?” Deenu said.
The man smiled and asked, “Did you smile at all your customers today?” “Sometimes, but not all,” Deenu replied. “For those people you don’t like, did you show them a smile first?” the man continued. “Not really. Why should I?” Deenu asked.
“Well. If you really want to do something for the world, you can start with yourself. You can’t determine (决定) how other people think or act, but you can decide what you do.” the old man said patiently. This made sense to Deenu. Tide is the regular rise and fall of the ocean level caused by the movement of the sun, the earth and the moon. It is considered a promising source of green energy to produce electricity in coastal areas.
To make use of tidal energy, we need to build tidal power stations. The bays and the river mouths where the tide is high (the tidal range is more than 10 metres) are usually perfect sites to build tidal power stations. There are many such places in the world. According to the IRENA (the International Renewable Energy Agency), by just using 2% of our coastlines, we can produce 4, 383TWh of ocean power each year, enough to meet 16. 4% of the world's electricity needs.
To build a tidal power station, we need to build a dam. In the dam are many turbines and on each turbine there is an electric generator. When the tide rises, water comes through the dam, the turbines turn and the electric generators work, producing electricity. When the tide fall, water goes out through the dam, the turbines turn again. The electric generators continue to work.
Tidal energy has it advantages. Using tidal energy to produce electricity is much cheaper than using the traditional energy, like coal or gas. For example, the Rance Tidal Power Station in France has been there for over 50 years, producing around 540, 000TWh of electricity each year. The cost is only 1.3 cents/TWh. Tidal energy can be used nearly 24 hours a day. As long as the sun, the earth and the moon exist, we can use it to produce electricity. But without sunshine, here is no solar energy. When there is no wind, electric generators will not work. In addition, with the development of modern technology, tidal energy can be stored and used to produce electricity continuously. However, we still have some problems to solve. It is difficult to build a dam in the sea, and the cost is very high. Moreover, it's expensive to keep a tidal power station in its best condition.
Scientists are working on them.

A.We can use it to get useful tide. | B.It can improve the ocean environment. |
C.We can use it nearly all the time. | D.It meets 16. 4% of the electricity needs. |
A.By digging more bays and river mouths. |
B.By building cheaper tidal power stations. |
C.By closing traditional electric power. |
D.By using tidal energy to replace other energy. |

Ancient poet Lu You:chosho
During his later years, Lu You started the body building called chosho, or shouts, a long and loud cry. Chosho was quite popular in ancient times, which was not roaring or whistling, but an elegant, serious and skillful health method. When ancient people did chosho, they opened their body, breathed in deep and then breathed out in rhyme.
Su Dongpo:long run, five kilometers per day
The great Song Dynasty poet Su Dongpo, or Su Shi preferred to take long runs. In a letter to his friend Cheng Zhengfu, Su Dongpo talked about his exercise habit, which was to run five kilometers per day. He would slow down when he breathed hard, and speed up when his breath balanced. Su Dongpo would run until he was sweaty, hot, blood circulating and limbs feeling refreshed.
Hu Yanzan:cold bath
According to historical records, General Hu Yanzan trained his children in the snowy winter by pouring cold water on them as they stood outside. There was an annual festival in November during the early Tang Dynasty(618-907)called"Pouring cold", where a group of strong men sang and danced in the street while crowds poured cold water on them. During the Song Dynasty, Hu Yanzan restored(恢复)the tradition by cutting out the singing and dancing parts and keeping the pouring cold water part, as a way to exercise people's physical bodies.

On days when you have soccer practice or an aerobics class, you may have no trouble exercising for an hour or more. But most of us are busy, and 60 minutes a day for exercise seems like a lot of time. The good news is that it’s OK to divide it into shorter exercise breaks throughout the day.
Just as you might have a healthy snack to stop yourself from getting hungry, exercise snacks can keep energy levels high. So get up 15 minutes early and do some stretching (伸展) activity. Walk fast or run slowly for 15 minutes after lunch. Do the same thing after school — or walk or bike home. Add to that taking the stairs, PE class, and walking between classes during the day, and you’ve probably reached your 60 minutes.
Here are five simple ways to make an exercise lifestyle change:
