My parents are not strict(严厉的)ones. I think they are both good educators(教育家).They don't use the stick. They would discuss things with us reasonably. They treat us more or less as equals(相同的人). My father used to say that he didn't believe in generation gap(代沟).There is no such thing that parents don't understand their children or children don't understand their parents. Why, if you don't talk with your children，if every time your children tell you something they truly believe and their truthful thoughts，you scold(责备)them at once, then of course they stop talking to you and won't tell you the truth.

The hygge refers to the sense of happiness you get when your family is gathered together at new year or Christmas. It is all about the pleasant feelings of home: the smell of your mother’s cooking, your partner’s arm around your shoulder and so on.
