You have been told to wash your hands many times a day to help stop the spread of the new coronavirus(新冠病毒). But what about the mobile phone that you're always using? Scientific studies have shown that the virus can live for two to three days on smooth materials like plastic and stainless steel. Experts suggest cleaning all "high touch" surfaces every day, including phones, keyboards and computers. However, few people know how to do the cleaning. Here are some things not to do when cleaning the phone.
◆Do not spray(喷)cleaners directly on the phone.
◆Do not put the phone into any cleaning liquids(液体).
◆Do not use tools that use forced air, which are often used to clean computer keyboards.
◆Do not clean the phone with hard materials, they could make small cuts on it.
So, what is the right way? Below are some suggested ways to clean the phone. With any of these suggestions, be sure not to get the phone wet.
◆Start by turning off the phone. Make sure the phone is not connected to the electricity.
◆Use cleaning cloths with 70 percent alcohol(酒精)instead of the common ones.
◆Use paper cloths, or other soft cloths like those used to clean the eyeglasses. It's OK to cover the cloths lightly in cleaners. But do remember to clean the phone"gently".
Cleaning the phone is one of the measures that are helpful to keep away from the new coronavirus. You should clean your own phone often and tell others the correct ways to do it.

Summer is finally here for most of us. Sadly, summer is not so pleasant to people in a bit less lucky place where air conditioning is not easy to get for most of them.
But as a saying goes, where there is a will, there is a way, especially for those who like doing it yourself (DIY). A young man from Bangladesh designed an air conditioning system called the Eco Cooler, one that does not require power, and is made of the world’s most common waste—plastic bottles.
The Eco Cooler is super simple to build—no special engineering skills are required. First, to fix it, a window should be taken away and replaced by it. Second, a board should be cut into the size of a window. Some bottle-neck sized holes should then be cut onto the board. Then, the funnel-shaped bottlenecks, cut from the plastic bottle should be put into the holes. The next step is to fix the design onto the window frame with the wider side facing outwards. And this is it.
The Eco Cooler then works by catching the winds and sending them inside the building. It can reduce the temperature of a room by as much as 5℃—a big difference when looking at comfortable 25℃ compared to uncomfortable 30℃.
The idea of the inventor, Ashis Paul, was to show his great product to as many people as possible. For this purpose, he received help from some groups of volunteers. Together, they offered to help local people build and fix the units, as well as teach them how to make them themselves.
Yes, the Eco Cooler is not a super high-tech air conditioning system, but it is one that can make a big difference.

Hello from Hawaii! It is lovely here. The volcanoes(火山)and beaches are beautiful. I hope you can come and see them yourselves someday. The seafood here is amazing-it's much cheaper than it is in Boston. The people here are friendly too. They taught me to dance and cook.

Our room is always a mess(杂乱). He also watches TV late at night. It makes it hard for me to sleep. The good news is that today is Sunday-it's time to go home.

Having studied in the UK and France, Yang was good at both English and French. And she started learning Spanish at the age of 48 in order to translate a great work—Don Quixote (《唐·吉诃德》). As a result, Yang finished the translation of Don Quixote over a period of 10 years. Published in 1979, it was regarded as the best translation of the classic in China.
