We celebrated the China Hanfu Day from April 28th to May 13th, 2018 in Xi’an. There were catwalk shows and traditional music concerts. That day people wore traditional Chinese clothing. Hanfu fans from all over the country gathered there to take photos and put them online for a Hanfu photo competition.
China Hanfu Day is on the third day of the third month of the Chinese lunar calendar. In old China, this day was also known as Shangsi Festival. Its aim (目的) is to encourage young Chinese to be proud of traditional clothing, as well as Chinese culture.
Han people lived in China before the Qing dynasty. Hanfu is their traditional clothing. It has a history of about 3,000 years and it also changes. However, some of its main characteristics (特点) remain. For example, there are two parts that overlap (交叠) on the front. People call it “Jiao Ling”. On the other hand, people usually use ribbons (系带) instead of buttons (扣子). It is the main characteristic of Hanfu, too.
China is becoming a leading country in the world, and the Chinese people feel more confident about its traditional culture than ever before. Wearing traditional clothing might be an interesting way of showing how we feel about this.

Sometimes the peaceful environment will be broken when others make noises with their mobile phone. It brings rather terrible experiences and feelings. So a rule has been made to stop such impolite actions.
When you are in public places, it is hard not to be influenced by others who play or talk on their mobile phones loudly. The sound of someone’s mobile phone can break up the quietness in the library where almost everyone is busy studying or reading books. While sitting in a restaurant, a diner (用餐者) who is watching videos loudly may influence your mood of having dinner. With mobile phone widely used, the daily environment has also been changed.
With the rules made, the public environment will be improved. Some people who break the rules will be punished. Firstly, workers in public places will advise them not to do those things. If they do not make a change or stop their bad behaviors, the police will come and take them away.

A while later, they indeed saw mice running out, one after another, Then, everyone thought that all the mice had escaped. But just as they began to clean up, they saw two mice squeezing(挤) out at the mouth of the hole. With some efforts, the mice finally got out. However, it was strange that after they came out of the hole, they did not run away at once. Instead, one chased after the other near the mouth of the hole. Everyone was puzzled, so they stepped nearer to take a look. They realized that one of the two mice was blind, and could not see anything, and the other was trying to allow the blind mouse to bite on his tail so that he could pull the blind one with him to escape.
After seeing what happened, everyone was speechless and lost in thought. During the meal time, the group of people sat down in a circle and started to chat about what happened to the two mice.
One serious American official said, "I think the relationship between those two mice was that of king and guard." The others thought for a while , and all felt it made sense.
A Japanese said, "I think the relationship between those two mice was that of mother and son." Once again the others thought for a while, and felt this was more reasonable. So they expressed agreement another time.
At that moment, one Chinese asked, "Why did those two mice have to have a certain relationship?"
Suddenly, the group looked back at the Chinese and remained speechless. The American official, the French and the Japanese who had spoken earlier all lowered (低下) their heads, being embarrassed, and did not dare to answer.
In fact, the true love is not built on friendship, loyalty or blood relationship. Instead, it is based on no relationship.
