Some boys like wearing the same kinds of clothes as girls, and some of them have long hair, so sometimes it’s difficult to tell whether they are boys or girls.

Today is Sunday. I have a walk with my grandmother in the park. My grandmother is 80 years old and she can’t see well. After some time, my grandmother is tired, so she sits down on a chair. There is another person sitting on the chair, too.

“Hello,” my grandmother says to the person with long hair next to her. “Can you see the person with long hair under the big tree? Is it a boy or a girl?”

“Which one?” asks the person.

“The one eating under the big tree,” says my grandmother.

“The boy!” says the person. “He’s my brother Mark.”

“Oh,” says my grandmother, “I don’t know you are his sister.”

“No, I’m not his sister. I’m his brother.”

Everyone wants to be healthy, but do you know how to be healthy? First, eating right food is very important. There is a lot of healthy food. It can make you strong. You can have more bananas, tomatoes, carrots and so on, because fruits and vegetables are good for you. But you should not eat too much chocolate or fast food. They’re not healthy food. Second, sports can also keep you healthy. Get up early and do some sports every day. You will be healthy and happy by doing so.

Ann is a student and she likes sports very much. She likes walking, because she thinks it’s a good way to keep fit, and it’s helpful to keep her heart and lungs healthy. Sometimes she also goes mountain climbing on Sunday. She spends half an hour exercising in the gym after school every day. After dinner, she usually walks with her parents, because most people like it and it is good for their legs and hearts. Now she plays volleyball very well, and she is also good at jumping. There is going to be a school sports meet next weekend. She is going to take part in the high jump and the long jump. Her classmates are going to cheer her on. They are sure that she will win.

Anger is a normal emotion that we all feel from time to time. Some people express anger openly in a peaceful and reasonable way. Some people are so angry that they shout or cry to show their anger. But other people keep their anger inside. They can not or will not express it. This is called repressing (压抑性的) anger.

In the past, many doctors thought that repressing anger was more dangerous to a person’s health than expressing it. They said that when a person is angry, the brain produces the same hormones (荷尔蒙). Their hearts beat faster, and blood pressure goes up. In general the person feels excited and ready to act.

Some doctors say that both repressing and expressing anger can be dangerous. They believe if you express anger with strong emotion, you may develop heart disease, and they believe if you keep the anger inside, you may face a greater danger of high blood pressure.

Doctors say we have to learn how to deal with anger. They say the first step is to agree that you are angry and to recognize the real cause of the anger; then decide if the cause is serious enough to get angry about. If it is, they say, “Do not express your anger while angry. Wait until your anger has cooled down and you are able to express yourself peacefully and reasonably.”

Doctors say that best way to deal with anger is to find humor in the situation that has made you angry. They said that laughter is much healthier than anger.

Prevent Bullying(欺凌)

On Thursday, the Ministry of Education (教育部) asked schools across China to make the efforts to prevent bullying in schools after a 7-year-old girl in Henan province was bullied by three classmates.

Liu Yugang, director of the Mnistry’s department of basic education, said   preventing school bullying has always been one of the most important tasks and the situation has improved in recent years.

However, school bullying still happens once in a while. The girl, a second-grade student at Dajian primary school, was held down by two boys while another boy put small pieces of paper into her eyes on Sep.28.The girl visited several hospitals from Sep.30 to Oct .25.The doctors said that it was not clear how many pieces of paper were put into her eyes.

In order to prevent school bullying, strict school rules should be made. Also, parents should play their part in teaching their kids not to bully others, Liu said. Kids learn from adults’ actions. By treating others with kindness and respects, adults show the kids in their lives that there is no place for bullying, Liu added. Even if it seems like they are not paying attention, kids are watching how adults manage stress and conflicts, as well as how they treat their friends, workmates and families.
