At 7: 00, I go to school in my father’s car with my friend Tina. We are in different classes. We have four classes in the morning. At 12:00, we have lunch at school. In the afternoon we have three classes from 14:00 to 16:30. After class, I always play basketball with my classmates for thirty minutes. We have many subjects at school. At the same time after the age of ten, often at eleven or twelve, boys' and girls' bodies start changing. This time of change is called puberty(青春期), The changes mean their bodies are getting ready so that they’ll be able to have children when they’re older.
The changes don't happen to everyone at the same time. Each person has his or her own body---changing timetable. By the time they're eighteen, they should be complete. Girls start changing some years sooner than boys, Until they're fifteen or so, they grow faster than boys of the same age. As years go by, boys can catch up and grow taller and stronger. Girls grow taller and heavier as well. Their faces and breasts become fuller. As well as all the changes you can see happening, other important changes --- ones you can' t see --- are happening inside your body at the same time.

【推荐3】Taking public transportation(公共交通)in the United States, you can often see people reading books on their way to school or work, But in China, I hardly ever see people reading in their free time.
Are people’s feelings about reading different here? Not really. Data(数据)shared by Amazon China in December, 2017 show that Chinese people still read a lot. They simply like e-books better than regular books.
However, other data show that reading is still more popular in the US than in China. Is there a reason for this difference? I’m not sure. What I do know is that China has a rich history of literature(文学). From classic novels like Romance of the Three Kingdoms(《三国演义》)to the modern science-fiction work The Three-Body Problem(《三体》), Chinese writers have created many fantastic written works.
Perhaps the difference starts from childhood. Reading textbooks and doing homework can make you feel quite tired. By the time you finish it, you may not have much free time and may not feel like reading for fun. Chinese students certainly have to read more textbooks and do more homework than US students. So it’s no wonder that they might not want to read much in their free time.
But learning to love reading can be great. Reading can open doors to places, people and ideas that you cannot imagine. Even just a book can change your own personal minds. Where will your next book take you?
