But right now, Hyperloop One is still far away from its final product. One major problem about making the inter-city Hyperloop available is that it could cost too much. “They’re up against airlines, and airlines don’t need to build hundreds of miles of tubes,” said Jose Gomez Ibanez, a professor of city planning at Harvard University, US.
