You have been told to wash your hands many times a day to help stop the spread of SARS—CoV-2. But what about the mobile phone that you’re always using? Scientific studies have shown that the virus can live for two to three days on smooth materials like plastic and stainless steel. Experts suggest cleaning all “high touch” surfaces every day, including phones, keyboards and computers. However, few people know how to do the cleaning.

Here are some things not to do when cleaning the phone.

※Do not spray (喷) cleaners directly on the phone.

※Do not put the phone into any cleaning liquids.

※Do not use tools that use forced air, which are often used to clean computer keyboards

※Do not clean the phone with hard materials. They could make small cuts on it.

So, what is the right way? Below are some suggested ways to clean the phone. With any of these suggestions, be sure not to get the phone wet.

※Start by turning off the phone. Make, sure the phone is not connected to the electricity.

※Use cleaning cloths with 70 percent alcohol instead of the common ones.

※Use paper cloths, or other soft cloths like those you use to clean the eyeglasses. It’s OK to cover the cloths lightly in cleaners. But do remember to clean the phone “gently”.

文章大意:本文介绍了如何制定目标,以及如何实现目标。

【推荐3】Life is like a journey. We should know where we want to go. Yet many young people travel on life’s journey with no sense of direction at all.

Setting personal goals can give your life a sense of direction. Before you set personal goals, think about what you want to achieve with your life. Try to set goals in some of the following ways:

Education—Will you achieve the educational goals after finishing high school? Are you still growing and learning?

Family—What kind of relationship do you want with your family members?

Creativity—Do you want to achieve any artistic goals?

Jobs—What do you want to do when you grow up? What do you need to make your dream come true?

Health—Are you healthy enough to do the things you want to do?

Pleasure—How do you want to enjoy yourself?

To help achieve your goals, divide your goals into smaller tasks. For example, if you want to reach a main goal in five years, set a three-year goal, a one-year goal, a three-month goal and a one-month goal. Then create a daily To-Do List of things that you should do today. When a goal is achieved, take the time to enjoy your success. This helps you build the self-confidence.

Remember, your goals can change as time goes on. But be sure your goals are things you hope to achieve, not what your family members or teachers want.
