Many children use the Internet to get useful knowledge and information, and to relax in their free time. But some of them do not use it in a good way.     1    

Make rules for Internet use with your parents. For example, when you can go online, for how long and what activities you can do online.

Remember to check with your parents before giving out a credit card number.

    3     Different chat rooms have different rules and attract different kinds of people. You and your parents will want to make sure it’s a right place for you. If something you see or read online makes you uncomfortable, leave the site.     4    

Never agree to meet someone you met on the Internet without your parent’s permission and never meet alone. Always remember that people online may not be who they say they are.     5

January is summertime in New Zealand, and the entertainment (娱乐活动) takes place outside. However, this is not the typical outdoor music concert or festival you have known. The buskers—people who perform in the streets and in other public places—bring the city to life with surprising entertainment.

The event begins in late January and attracts around 300,000 visitors every year with about 500 performances. The performances include the circus (马戏表演) and magic acts, street dancing and singing, and other crazy forms of entertainment.

One of the best things about the festival is how well it attracts the whole family, from the youngest to the oldest. Laughs are everywhere, especially when unprepared visitors are asked to become a part of the performances.

The festival director said, “We have performers from all over the world. Most of the performances are free, so it means you can bring your family and spend a whole day here.”

Miss Underhill learned about how to deal with the rubbish while taking part in other volunteer projects. But soon enough she organized her own group, Mountain Cleaners. Miss Underhill says the work is very hard. But she praises the group’s efforts as a wonderful experience. The young Englishwoman says the Indian media(媒体) started calling her “Rubbish Girl”. But she says she was pleased with the name.
