9 . National Sports Day in India is on August 29 every year. This is a day to remember Dhyan Chand, a field hockey (曲棍球) player from India. Many people think of him as the best field hockey player of all time. August 29 was his birthday.
Dhyan Chand was born in 1905. At the age of 16, he began to play field hockey. In 1926, he joined the national team. Two years later, the Indian men’s field hockey team won the gold medal at the 1928 Summer Olympics. He also helped the team win two more Olympic gold medals in 1932 and 1936.

10 . In the past, libraries mainly played the role of storing books. People used to go to a library to borrow books and get information. But today, libraries have been a place with well-equipped facilities (装备齐全的设施) and people can stay there comfortably for a whole day.
Liu, a third-year student at Guangdong Medical University, has been a regular visitor to her school library since her first year. “When I feel bored at home, I’ll check my phone.
