It is quite rude for children or adults to bring electronic games, mobile phones, etc. to the dining table whether at home or in restaurants.
One of my worries is some adults leave their mobile phones on ringer (响铃装置) and have conversations next to me when I am trying to enjoy my meal. When people enter a restaurant, their mobile phones should be closed, on silence or on vibrating (震动). If they must answer a call they should excuse themselves from the table and go to the rest room to speak.
Children should be taught the art of conversation at a very early age when dining. They should not be allowed to interrupt (打断), but talk at the proper time. Some family-style restaurants provide coloring materials for young children to play with while they are waiting for their meals. This is a quiet activity and they can still have a conversation, too.
Some adults treat restaurants as offices and talk about business during their meals. When it bothers (打扰) others who are enjoying their meals quietly, then it should not be done.
The basic rule of having good manners is to treat others the way you like to be treated and that is with respect (尊重) and consideration.

I was like you four years ago. I think we live in a world where we often compare ourselves with others. I think you should really look at yourself in the mirror and try praising (表扬) yourself. It helped you love yourself more. You know, almost everyone experiences those feelings many times in their lives. Surprised? But it’s true.
Many people think you are good enough. I am one of them. I am sure your parents and your friends feel the same. Go outside and try to hang out with people. Make small steps.
Lastly, talk with a psychiatrist (心理医生). And trust your psychiatrist. If you can’t trust him or her, then you may get the wrong person. Find another one.

This winter vacation, I’m most excited for the Bejing 2022 Winter Olympics. I will watch my favorite winter sport, skiing, at home on TV. To show my support (支持) for the Winter Olympics, I took part in a school activity called “Making your English newspaper”, which was about the Games. In my newspaper, I drew a big picture of a skier in the center. He wears a Chinese team uniform with the number “1” on his chest.
