Last week our class voted what to do about our class outing: visiting Yanghu Park or going to the zoo. Our girls wanted to go to Yanghu Park. Today I met my first friend, Gonzalo. He had already been here for a few days but offered me some help. I don’t think I would managed everything so quickly with him. Our school held an English speech contest which theme was “Green Campus, Green Future” on last week. All the students and teachers gathered to watch them in the student center.

First, every participant deliver a speech. Then each of them asked to make an unprepared speech according to the topics giving by the judges. But the last part of the contest was presenting the prizes to the top three winner.

With the College Entrance Exam known as Gaokao approaching, a year activity named"Come on Grade Three"was held in the afternoon of May 30th.All the teachers and students including Grade One and us Grade Two participate in the event.The principal, one teacher and one student were made three wonderful and inspiring speech. Dear Peter,

Hearing that you’ll return back to your country, I think it was a good idea to choose some items typical of Chinese culture to take with you.

The item come first into my mind is the Chinese kite, the cultural symbol of my hometown. Kite, mostly made of paper, are often designing into diverse shapes, some with lovely animal images like butterflies, eagles and so on. People can fly kites in the open air, where is a popular form of entertainment. Besides, a pen container with the Chinese ink painting on it is also a nice choose. I’m sure each time you use them, you will recall this unforgettable experience in China.
