The 2020 Summer Olympics,       1     were planned for this summer in Tokyo, have been formally put off until 2021 because of COVID-19.

This is the first time the Olympics have been put off in the 124-year history of the Games. But in the past, they were canceled three     2     (time)—once during World War I and twice during World War II.

Putting off the Olympics will have many effects. For example, many sporting events which are already scheduled     3     (hold) in 2021 may have to be put off, too.

Last October I left the UK behind and joined Gillotts School on their rugby and hockey tour in sunny Italy. Chinese Bullfighters Bring Martial Arts (武术) to Their Sport
