1 . There are many benefits of rock climbing for kids. The most obvious ones are physical. Rock climbing is an intense physical activity requiring strength and flexibility. For senior climbers, rock climbing can be a good way to build strength while completing certain courses.     1     Even though rock climbing may not seem as intense as running, it does work to keep the body healthy.

    2     Rock climbing requires strategies and focus in order to make it to the top. Children who have difficulty concentrating can often develop their mental focus through rock climbing. A feeling of accomplishment might also be seen as a mental benefit. This often encourages increased physical activity to meet the next challenge.
