Last year, our class paid a visit a local nursing home. After arrive there, we saw some elder doing Tai chi. They gave us an impression of being energetic but healthy. But there was also some old people seated in the wheelchairs. They were out of the shape, which made me a few sad. They must have experienced a hard life in the past. During that visit, we chat with the old and did some cleaning here. We had such a good time. This year, we plan to visit it again and hope more people care about the old so that they can be healthy, peace and happy for the rest of their life.

Last night I was having a shower in the bathroom at about 10:30 while the silence was broken down by some unusual noises outside. I quickly got dressing and ran out of the bathroom, only find a big fire on the third floor of our flat building. Luckily, most of the people, including my family, have left the building by the time the firefighters arrived. But a baby along with his parents were still trapped in a flat on the fourth floor. The firemen were true great. Some put out the fire but the others managed to rescue the parents and their baby. We are really grateful for the brave firefighters who risked their own lives to save ourselves.

I was punished once while I was at school. That was only because I forced to do something I didn't want to do it. I got punished because of the boy, who I was really frightened for. In the beginning of the new term, our school organized military training. In the first three day, our instructor taught us how to walk and stood like a real soldier. On the last day of military training, we were honoring for our achievements. Through our efforts, they won the first prize. After the four-day military training, my classmates and I was expressed our thanks for our instructor’s hardly work. It was The Dragon Boat Festival on last Thursday. My parents and me visited my grandparents and spend the day with them. When we arrived, they were making Zongzi, what is kind of traditional food for the festival. I was such curious about it that wanted to have a try. So my grandma taught me how to wrap glutinous rices in bamboo leaves as well as tell the story of Qu Yuan to me. I was moved because Qu Yuan was true loyal to his state. The wrapping job was difficult, and I managed to make some.
Not only did I enjoy a great time with my family but also I learned a new skill. How exciting experience it was!
