It was Sunday. I was doing housework while someone knocked at the door. It was a milkman who sent a bottle of milk. But I didn’t order them. Feeling confused, I noticed a note stick to it. The note says “Dear neighbor, I’m sorry about a noise made by our decoration that will last for three days. The bottle of milk is given to you as a gift show our apology.”
The next day, everyone in the neighborhood were talking about the milk and our coming neighbor. With the decoration being finished, the family finally moved into the neighborhood. People came to help. I was deep touched by this scene which was full on consideration and appreciation.

One June, I helped my grandma water the fresh planted flowers around the house. She was very gentle with them that they grew so fast. When all the work were finished, I ran to get my bike to ride for while. As I was getting on it, however, I noticed there was anything new. I got off and knelt down on the walkway lead to our house. I found a single wild flower coming out of a crack by the walkway, without water, soil or love.
The surprising new life hit me a lot of. Sometimes in my own life, I felt my grow looked like grandma's flowers, that were loved and cared for. At other times I felt as if I were that wild flower, growing by the walkway quietly and having to grow through the solid concrete. I realized that it doesn't matter where you grow and it matters that you keep growing.

Yesterday I showed my friend Kate in Baoding city. First, we went to Zhili Governor Office, where is a very famous tourist spot in China. And then we visited the Ancient Lotus Pond Garden, where we had a great fun. Later, I took him to Baoding Botanic Garden. We both attracted by its beautiful scenery at first see. We nearly spent three hours walk around it. At about 6 pm we went back happy. From Kate’s high spirit I learned that she is very pleased with this visit.

Thank you for your e-mail. I am glad tell you something about our English Club, which is set up by the Student Union last year. Students who are interest in English gather at the school hall in every Saturday afternoon. We usually see English movie, learn to sing English songs but debate on hot topics. Through these activities, we can broaden us horizons and learn about the west culture. Of course, we have a great fun. The English Club benefit us a lot in many ways.

This morning on my way home I was deep moved by what I saw outside a bank. An old lady in rag was counting her money when a young man ran into her by accident, lead to the money flying off. Everyone at nearby quickly picked up the money and gave them back to her. The old lady counted money again and find not a single bill was missing. The old lady was very content with that the strangers had done for her so she bowed to them but said thank you again and again. It was clear that the old lady was much touched by the people’s kind.

On July 5th my little dog Milo escaped from my yard fencing by bars. I suspected it was the fireworks on July 4th which frightened him. He headed for miles to the 1-5 freeway, running in and out of the traffic on it. A young couple spent several hours driven him away by car and on feet and rescued him. Having been noticed my phone number on his collar, they called me. They waited me in a supermarket parking lot after I came to pick him up. If it hasn't been for them, he would sure have been killed on the freeway. Their kind will never be forgotten!

Recently I found a couple of donation box in my living community. People come to it when they have clothes they don't wear. The donation box, I think, is of great useful. I have a lot of clothes which don't fit for me any longer. I have no idea before about how to deal with the clothes that are real new and still in good condition. Now I know how to do next. I will donate them or help those people in need. So I think the donation box is good idea that lights up our life and make the world a better place to live in.

When I was in Grade 8, my family move to another city, so I had to go to a new school. Being in a unfamiliar place, I felt lonely and frightening. Worse still, some subjects were so difficult to learn from that I had no idea how to adapt to the new environment. My teachers noticed my problems but often encouraged me. With their help, I made some progresses in my lessons. However, it wasn’t easy make friends. My classmates had already known each other. I found it hardly to fit in. My mother suggested that I chatted with them. Following his advice, I soon got a few good friends.
