Mistakes are unavoidable in life. But attitudes towards it may make difference. I still remember how my spoken English was improved. At the beginning, I always kept silent in our oral class to avoid make mistakes. Before long my teacher got to know about his situation, he encouraged me to speak out that I thought. Whenever I made mistakes and felt discouraging, my teacher and my classmate would help me to find out my problem. I also joined in an English club to get more chances to speak. Practice makes perfect. Now I can talk fluent in English. Just as the saying went, “Every bean has its black.”Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Learning from mistakes, and success is just waiting for us.

I like the Spring Festival, during that I usually enjoy myself greatly. All the family member often get together to have a big dinner. We also visit our relatives or friends. To my great joy, my grandparents always gave me some lucky money. Last year, I spent the Spring Festival happily as usual, but one thing made me surprising. My grandparents didn’t give me lucky money at first! It seemed that they had forgotten about them. Seeing I was puzzled, my grandpa laughed at. Several minutes late, my mobile phone received message. It was my grandpa who sent lucky money to me secret through WeChat! How cool and humorous my grandpa was!

Last week as I pull out of the parking lot with my son to watch the football game，I saw a woman trying to change her flat tire. Because of nobody stopped to help her，I went over and offered change her tire. She tried to be nice，said that she was thankful. After a while，I helped her out unless I became dirty. When I got into the car，my son angry said to me，“Do you know what you did is likely to let us missing the game？Why did you help him？”I told him that it was the right things to do and we needed to help each other.

Though a great progress has been made in science these years，there are still many people living in poor condition. They make their living by collecting and sell used things. Their children cannot go to school so they don’t have enough money to sending their children there. What do you think so many people still suffer from poverty now？The answer lies the population explosion. A president of a developing country once said，“It is us who are to blame for the poverty because we used to‘produce’children without limits.”Although these few words sounds simple enough，they have clear pointed out one of the causes of the population explosion.

A Chinese and a German made up their mind cross the sea in a balloon in 1754. The balloon in what they discovered a hole was high over the water. A hole became bigger and bigger. The hot air keeping the balloon up was escaping quick and the balloon was coming down. The two men threw all their equipments in order to make the balloon lighter. It started to rise higher again，so it was still too close to the water. At last，the men throw away most of their clothes to save himself. The crowd waiting for to welcome them was very surprising to see this when the balloon landed in front of them.

Dear Editor, Recently our school has set up a rule that no student allowed to take their mobiles into class, what has aroused a lot of discussions among students.

Many of the students feel strong against the rule, arguing that the mobile had become a necessary part of our life. They also consider that a must for us to get relaxing from our busy studies.

When it comes to me, like some other students, I hold the different opinion. While a mobile can help us get some relief, without it we can be more devoted to our studies, but spare more time to communicate with those around us. Therefore, I believe in this school rule is of great beneficial to every student.

This morning, I was jogging in the park where I caught sight of a wallet on a bench. Clear, someone had left it there by an accident. I picked it up and checked the contents. Inside them, I found some money and a card with a phone number. Believing that the owner would be worrying, I immediately tried the number. A man answers it in an anxious voice. Heard that I had his wallet, he sighed with relief and told me he would return right away. Ten minute later, the man arrived. After confirming (确认) he was the owner, I handed the wallet back him. With his thumb up, he expressed his gratitude to me repeatedly. Seeing the smile in his face, I felt happy that I was able to help.

In our life, everyone is surely to have difficulties. It is the same with me. I still remember how worried I am about my English learning three years ago. I had difficulty follow my teacher in the English class. With my classmates often laughing at me because of my poor English, I decided to do anything. Firstly, I took a part in the English Corner that I met many friends. They shared their methods of learning English with me. Beside, I also found it useful keep English diaries. What’s more, I talked with friends on the Internet and exchanged emails with English. As a result, I made great progresses in learning English.
