I have had the pleasure of meeting a nice neighbor since my family move to the new community. We usual just wave and say hi when we meet. Therefore, an incident changed this. The other day, a heavier rain hit our area. With strong winds blowing throughout the day, a part of his wooden fence, about 6 foot of it, came down. When I was wondering what to get it repaired, he gave me a hand. With his help, the fence was fixed quickly. It was kind act by my neighbor and I was touching by his kindness. I will soon send to him a thank-you note.

To show our love for poor kids lived in earthquake-hit areas, our school hold a special activity recently in our school lecture hall. Its purpose was to making sure those poor kids have a warm winter. All the teachers and students in our school took an actively part in this activity. We gave away 400 pieces of clothes and 200 pairs of shoe altogether. After be sorted, they will be sent to those in the need. I believe what they did will make a great difference to those poor kids. Now I’d like to telling you something about my part-time job, in it I work as a guide in a travel agency. This is the first time when I have earned money. I’ve realized what hard my parents work to support for the family. I was used to ask them for money, but now I’ll never waste money or learn to share worry with my parents. I’ve learnt how to get along well with other. What’s more, I have gained some social experience and I have learnt something can’t be learnt from textbooks. I've always been dreaming of visiting Chicago. Last summer I took trip there on my own, what got me thinking about the advantages of travelling alone. Something that I noticed immediately was the fact that I had the free to do what I wanted. After all, I don't have to consider another person's interests. While in Chicago, I got involving in a couple of workshops. During these workshops, we got the chance to talk with the local people. Days late, I went to the theatre alone and found myself having a conversation about travel with the lady sit beside me. To be honest, these conversations wouldn't have been happened if I had travelled without a friend.
